When these arrived I broke the block down to clean everything. Internally they look the same as all the other linear bearings. Had quite a bit of brown/yellow fluid inside. I imagine for shipping purposes. Once they were reassembled and lubricated I put them back on the clean rail. They are smooth but boy are they tight. I usually test by placing the rail vertical and seeing if they will slide with gravity. These didn’t even attempt to move. There wasn’t any binding at all. Even after cycling back and forth dozens of times, I didn’t notice any better results. 4 stars because they are smooth but not 5 because they are super tight.

Purchased this for the X on my E3V2 along with their conversion kit (which is great). Out of the packaging they would hardly move. Stripped them down, soaked everything in 50% Iso Alcohol for a couple hours, dried them, and lubed with Bones Speedcream (as a temporary measure to see how smooth they are, will be changing to a proper lithium or silicon soon). Freshly cleaned and lubed, they still feel a bit grainy on either side, but they move effortlessly and with just a bit of tilt, gravity pulls them all the way. They DO come with 2 rubber endstops preinstalled. The unit is shipped in a thick, sealed plastic bag and heavily coated in shipping grease (not usable for actual lubrication, meant to protect the parts until use).Machining on the ball bearing channel inside the sled looked a bit rough, as does the coating on the rail. Ball bearings look decent, but might be under spec (see below for more info on this). Here's the kicker: I also purchased these (https://amzn.to/3XeZH5E) ceramic bearings to replace them, as they are commonly purchased together (according to amazon) and those bearings have good reviews. I assembled everything and left a 3 bearing space on either side. It was practically locked into place. The tolerances were so tight that I had to use significant force to move the sled. I tried to break them in a bit by manually moving the sled back and forth for an hour, and while that did make things a bit better, it was still entirely too tight to install and move with the stepper. I have a pair of digital calipers coming tomorrow to measure the upgraded bearings and see if they are within spec, but my guess is the coating on these rails have poor QC and due to this they are using slightly undersized bearings to compensate (which also happens to mask the poor machining in the sled). I could tell visually that these bearings were smaller than the ones I purchased, which is why I believe it is the rail and not the bearing upgrades. With the factory bearings though, the item is totally functional and definitely still better than rollers if you don't mind the sound of a cheap rail.I will update my review if it turns out the bearings I purchased were oversized. As of now it is getting a 3.5/5 because while it works, it's definitely not perfect and it took a bit of work to get them there. Will get a 4 if it turns out the bearings are in spec and the ceramics will get a bad review.UPDATE 1/7/23:Measured the upgrade bearings I purchased, out of 30 measured, 29 of them measured within .002mm, most of them being slightly undersized at 2.379mm. This concludes that the bearings used in this rail are terribly undersized, and using any decent in spec bearing will likely lock up your rails. Buy at your own risk. Still a decent value once cleaned and lubed, but not to spec so not worth it long term.

Two out of three ball bearing cartridges were perfectly machined and I don't think the third cartridge with the pitting will affect performance but we'll have to see about that. Will update the review when needed with ceramic bearings they'll probably be just as good as more expensive linear rails.

A falta de montar. El envío fue rápido. Muy bien embalado. El patín se desliza muy bien. Una vez sea probado en impresora 3d dejaré nuevos comentarios.

I'm gonna have to start by saying I'm impressed with what I got, compared to what I expected. You can see in the pics I posted how they are packaged. Vacuum sealed in bubble wrap. They are packaged individually in a box but they were in a large envelope. The rails are kinda Smooth out of the box (before cleaning) i did purchase new bearings and probably will install but not necessary. There is absolutely NO slop or play on the carriage its solid. It does have the soft rubber wipe at each end. Did not come with rubber stops for the carriage. I guess I'll have to print them when I print the guides to mount the rails. I am very pleased with these rails.. after I clean them and re lube the carriage it should glide pretty smooth. If you were like me and couldn't decide which leaner rails to buy because there is so many choices but none seemed 100 % in the reviews. I bought these because they are black and they are going on an ender 3pro with the blv upgrade kit. It was by chance that they are actually good. To many companies selling the green and red with chrome rails all cheap linear rails. Installing the g5 ceramic bearings in one and the chrome polished bearings in the others. I will update after the install on my 3d printer. Would i recommend these to a friend? Most definitely and tell them be quick because there wasn't that many left. Lol I keep going on but I didn't mention how solid these rails are and perfectly straight. Just an awesome rail when I expected so much less. I feel like I got more than my money's worth, how often does that happen these days 🤔

Dann alles prima.

I purchased the linear sliding guide for my Wbder 3 pro and love it. Installation was a bit tricky but there are plenty of resources online. My xaxis is very smooth now and now more wheels. Now I need to add it to the rest of the machine. Great addition. I’m not sure if it has an affect on print quality or speed but it will reduce having to replace wheels as a wear item. Great addition and looks slick
