My GoTrax GLX V2 was having intermittent acceleration problems. It was like guess work when it would work and when it wouldn’t. I figured it had to be one of three things: accelerator switch, main board, or motor. I went with the cheapest and easiest first, the accelerator. It has worked great for about a week now and the scooter seems to accelerate faster than it used to (as noted by two daughters). I’m an electrical technician so changing it was relatively easy for me, but I’d advise getting assistance, or just a lot of patience, when routing the electrical cable through the handle and into the main housing. Overall, I’m very happy with the accelerator so far and will continue to enjoy it so long as it doesn’t stop working. If you know how to replace it and it’s actually what is causing the failure, then this is a good choice.
