I have a 2004 Heritage Softail Classic with true dual fish tail exhaust. These have no baffles and are annoyingly loud and tended to make a lot of noise on deceleration and when you hit the throttle hard on take off. This though fun at first, on a long ride this was not good.I had to extend these pipes due to putting extended hard bags on the bike. I put these baffles in side the extension pieces which were right after the head pipes. They made a big difference. The bike was now quiet and no more rumble type back fire on deceleration. Rode that way a couple of weeks and decided they were a bit too quiet. I took the pipes back off, pulled the baffles and removed the insulation and put them back in. Now they sound perfect. The sound is just right and the annoying deceleration noises remained gone. These baffles work. The size is perfect for inside 1 3/4" pipes. They work exactly like they are supposed to. The reviews I read with complaints are totally unfounded. Ignore those. These are good functional baffles and easy to install.

Worked perfect. Replaced baffles that came with aftermarket exhaust. Went from unbearably and abnoxiously loud (actually illegally loud) to a much tamer idle with a deeper rumble, but has perfect bark with throttle. This is on a 2016 sportster.

I used them with out the fiberglass and it quieted the bike down enough to keep the cops off of me but it's still loud enough to sound good .

Works! Did exactly what I needed it to do. Had to drill a hole in the pipes to secure it. They sound great! Level one skill can do this. It took me 30min to modify and install. Solid material for what it is.
