I used this to increase volume and cooling efficiency for my power steering. I have oversized tires and do rock crawling. This cooler has made a big difference for the hydro assist steering I added. No problems anymore with not enough fluid.

It is what it is, built well, end plates are welded to an extruded tube. The welds are cosmetically good and sufficient for the application.The unit comes with aluminum hose fittings. The description says they are 1/4NPT. But they are not the proper size for 1/4NPT as they thread into the holes so far that they do not get tight and seal before bottoming out. And the hose size required for the fittings is 1/2" hose. Which is dumb since the 1/4NPT throttles the flow to 0.36 inch diameter. Fittings for 3/8 inch hose would be more appropriate.

Will considerably cool down the fluid. I have it coupled with a radiator type cooler chained together. 95 F in, 45 F out. Nice!

I liked the design and quality of this. just wanted the fittings spread out more the 1/4 fittings are so small and so close together it took me about 40$ in adapter fitting's to find a way to run 5/8 hose to this back to my power steering pump
