I used this fan along with a small radiator to make a redneck-engineered heater system for my old bus. The original passenger heating system was removed prior to me getting the bus. I hooked the small radiator into the existing coolant lines and installed this fan to pull air through the radiator and provide heat to the space just behind the driver's seat. I used the included mounting hardware to install it onto the radiator. It works great!

I got this fan in the summer of 2019.I run it directly off a 60 watt solar panel with no charge controller which means the fan is running on 18 volts or so.It runs everyday the sun shines.I use it to move air across my RV refrigerator coils. The fan has been more durable than I expected.I have the 7 inch fan.

I purchased the 8 inch fan to use as a vent for the back of my work van. I have a welder in the back of the van and it gets way too hot even with the doors open. I installed a waterproof vent on top of the van, and then installed this fan underneath to pull the air out. It moves a decent amount of air for its size and keeps the back of my van a cool temperature. And on really hot days, after I turn the welder off, it cools it down in a couple of minutes easily. I found that removing and flipping the fan blades over helped it to pull air better. I used a inline fuse and a switch to power the fan straight from the battery. With the 8 inch one, i dont see there being much of a reason for using a relay.

Its very powerful and on full moves a lot of air. Unfortunately when you power it via a speed controller it squeals like a pig at anything below two thirds power or I would have rated it a five out of five. If you want to use in a noisy location this is probably no concern to you like in an engine compartment. I wanted it for a DIY cooler project so its not ideal for me but I'll keep it anyways.

Great fan and decent power. Didn't give it a 5 star rating because they only sent me 1 fan tie-strap. Not a big problem but i'll have to spend $10 on a new set of tie straps.

I live in Florida, it gets hot occasionally... by hot I mean in the mid to upper 90's. I converted the radiator fan from a manual to an electric... one I found to be very adaptable to any application in the salvage yard, six years ago. The conversion has worked great. This year... however.... while sitting at idle and in traffic. The temperature gage went up to the 210 mark and even slightly above at times. This fan, which I control with a toggle switch, draws enough air to bring the time down below the 210 mark. It seems very strong, and appears to be well made. I do not know what the CFM rating is, or where it is made. I bench tested it before the install. It is reversible. There are no specifications on the box, other than it is a 12 volt fan.

Only draws 60W @13V (4.6A) when pulling air. Noisy if used indoors but moves lots of air. Seems to pull better than push. Also draws more current when pulling. Great price for what it does.
