About this item

  • The Original - 100% MADE WITH PRIDE IN THE USA
  • Hexagonal Stretch Pattern Fits Most Pistol Grips, Increasing Recoil Absorption and Decreasing Hand Fatigue
  • Tight Fit Stays Put. Conforms to Handle Contours with Minimal Bulk
  • Proprietary Rubber Compound Actually Becomes Tackier When Wet
  • Ultimate Comfort. Ultimate Control. Covert Clutch.

The secret to the Covert Clutch Grip Sleeve's performance is a proprietary rubber compound that stretches over your pistol's grip to provide a comfortable texture, improved adhesion and shock absorption to increase shooting accuracy and speed. The hi-tech compound reacts to body heat to create a slightly tacky skin-like surface - even when wet - for superior firearm control and improved follow-up time on target. With a tactical 6 way stretch design, the Covert Clutch sleeve provides insulation for frigid winter mornings and grip for muggy summer afternoons - sweat on it and feel it work! The durable material has high resistance to tearing, sunlight, oils and solvents while being thin enough that the increase in grip size is barely perceptible. Fits most handguns and pistol grips with minor trimming. Available in Tactical Matte Black, Reload Pink, Spartan Bronze, and Flat Dark Earth. MADE IN USA

These are an excellent addition to any PCC or large format, pistol, carving or rifle with an AR style grip. They’re comfortable they’re not too big they stay put they are a little difficult to get on initially, but you want that, and they improve the feel and control of the fire. Highly recommend.

Take it slow when applying. Rub a little bit of water or oil on the rubber before you put it on so it doesn't rip and gently using above method just CAREFULLY stretch the ends with your fingers over your guns grip like a shoehorn should slide right on. Once it's on take a rag to wipe off as much excess fluid as possible then let it sit over night It should be almost completely dry. Adjust the way you want and your ready to goIt feels like its made exactly for the grip once put on and dried. It is is nicely tacky and not sticky. It also feels completely tacky even with lightly wet hands. (Hogue couldn't do this with the handall grip)Overall excellent option and worth the money 10/10 from me thanks.

Summary: Great price! Decent overall. Buy to enhance a bad grip, skip if you already have a good one.I installed this on top of a Magpul MOE+ K2, which is a $25 AR15 pistol grip. If you have an AR15 I recommend you skip this, and look around for a rubberized AR15 grip like the one above, which are mostly around $25 to $35. Since good pistol grips for many guns aren't that expensive, you should probably just get one instead if you can.* Comfort: 4.5: It adds a little bit of padding, is moderately grippy, and reasonably comfortable. It's also just as grippy when wet. The downside is it's not quite as nice as a well designed pistol grip. It also adds thickness to the grip, which throws off the ergonomics. If the grip you have is too small, or you have large hands, then the thickness might be a nice bonus.* Quality: 4.5: I have no complaints about the quality, the look, materials, or anything similar. It looks exactly like the pictures.* Install 3: Install was a little bit of a pain, but I got it eventually. I mostly just went around the grip clockwise moving it a few millimetres at a time. You only need to install it once, so this shouldn't deter you.* Practicality: 3.5: As with my previous comment, it's not super practical for an AR-15, because of how easy it is to replace the pistol grip with one that's very affordable and comfortable. If you can't replace the grip on your gun, then go with this instead.Other: I might try trimming this, and installing it on a single-stack pistol that I have to thicken the grip. It also weighs 0.551 oz (ounces) according to my scale.

So even though it says it is a handgun grip sleeve the picture they use is obviously of an AR grip, disregard the included instructions unless you want to tear up your finger and possibly the grip sleeve itself. To install take a bit of dish soap and spread it around the inside of the grip sleeve firstit will be a bit of a pain to get the sleeve far enough over the bottom of the grip for it to not pop right offthen slide it up a bit at a time till you get it in place.it fits fairly well though there is a small uncovered area of the grip in the back at the bottom as you can see in the picture, that being said if feels more comfortable than is was and it seems sturdy enough

Great Grip... This is just what it is advertised to be. It was fairly easy to apply. Just roll it up and roll it on to your grip. (...even a kid could it... much like putting on a condom ...don't they teach that in pre-school now). The sleeve has a tacky feel to it and it's reversible. There is a pattern on one side, good for extended use, and smooth on the other, more contact area. Just turn it inside out to reverse. It is kinda thin so I could see where some might complain that it tears easily. But I think they're just trying too hard to "get it on". However, because it is thin, it conforms to the shape of the grip quite well and adds little to no bulk to the grip. Just makes the grip easier to... ...well... ...grip. Yes, you could cut up a bicycle inner tube and make one. But I use mine with the pattern side exposed and, unless you are very crafty (...I ain't), you are not gonna get a gripper pattern on an old bike tube. Plus, like I mentioned earlier, the pattern is great if you're holding the grip for extended periods of time. You know... like WHEN YOU'RE USING IT.

I was looking on Amazon for a good affordable grip for my AR-15.When I came across this slip on sleeve, I thought to my self how food can this sleeve be for this price. So I decided to order it and give it a try.I am glad I made the right choice. The shipping was very fast and it came wrapped very well.Upon opening the packaging I looked at the sleeve and said to my self this sleeve is too small and it won't fit my AR-15.A little word of advise please have some patience when sliding the sleeve on to your fire arms grips. This sleeve is very tight but it will stretch more than enough so can slide on to your pistol or riffle grips. It fits very snug and takes the form of the grip.I went to the range all day and I immediately notice the difference when firing my riffle. The recoil and hand fatigue was drastically reduced. Also I notice that when my hand started to sweat the sleeve got a little tacky which gave me a better hold on my riffle when shooting it at the range.I also uploaded a of the sleeve installed on my AR-15...So ladies and gentlemen if you are in the market for an addon for your pistol or riffle grip give the covert clutch tactical slip on grip a try...
