I have a plastic bin for yard waste however once fall comes I need that and several bags for my maple tree leaves. EVERY year I struggled with the paper bags. My arms aren't long enough to open them fully up and they fall over every time I tried putting the leaves in. This makes it soooooo much easier! I just rake the leaves into this, pick it up, and dump the leaves into the bag.

This product was a little crooked when I first opened it, but it was fine after using it once or twice. This product can also be fixed to the ground with nails, making it easy to sweep fallen leaves or garbage in. It is much easier to use than other leaf collectors

The fabric is thicker and more wear-resistant than what I used to buy. And the capacity is also larger. So I can clean up move leaves every time. But I need to add nails firstly so that the leaf collector won’t move.

The curve of this collector makes getting leaves in difficult as when you sweep or rake towards the front opening many of the leaves go on either side of the front opening with only about 1/3 making it into the collector. If you use the stakes provided getting the leaves in is better but then you have to keep moving the collector around your yard and keep restaking it. You could just use a narrow rake or broom to push the contents in but all I used was a wider rake. I also found using the rear opening to dump the contents into a bag or bin is a bit cumbersome with only 1 person. Once I lost about half the contents out the front opening as I was concentrating on maneuvering the rear into the bin and trying to untie the bow holding it shut at the same time.

I found it difficult to fill, it takes a lot of extra effort to get the leaves in.. In gave up and used a plain tarp.

We had purchased one of the flat leaf pick up tools, which worked ok, but this is substantially easier. Having the handle and top on it you’re able to super quickly fill and then dump it into whatever you’re disposing into. Well worth the money!

Would anyone like to volunteer to rake leaves?Whether you rake the whole yard, mow them into harvestable rows, blow them into piles, you still gotta pick them up and put them into something.I got plastic "bear claws" that make this slightly easier, but it's still a PITA.This unit can be thought of as a giant leaf funnel. Rake em in, pick it up, put the "dragons tail" end of it into your receptacle, empty. There aren't enough leaves yet this fall for me to put it to its ultimate test, but it looks promising. Will probably have to haul around a small rock with it to keep it from blowing away when empty, but it does come with some little stakes. Which seems like a good idea until you have to empty it, and now you're farting around with stakes. It comes in a very compact zippered bag. If you can manage to flip it four times to get it back to the size that fits in the bag, you're a better man than I. I'll probably figure that out eventually, but for now it's gloriously unpacked on my garage floor. To sum up, good chance this will make your raking life easier, some potential that it will make your "storing for the rest of the time" life harder.
