Bought this to fix to a wall as my new car trailer sits out on my drive, so combined with the Urban bike chain and lock, it's way more secure than just with a tow ball lock and wheel clamp fitted. Really easy to fit - a tip is to use increasing sizes of masonry drill bits. Of note, you will need a 16mm one to finish with as the expanding bolts that come with this will not fit in any smaller hole. I used a 5mm, 8mm, 10mm and then 16mm drill bits, all with my Bosch battery hammer drill and had no issues. I haven't as yet fitted the ball bearings into the hex heads to ensure it can never be removed, but that's tomorrow's job and it was getting dark and I didn't want to drop a ball bearing where I'd lose it. Fantastic bit of kit and very well made!

A good substantial anchor, easy to fit if you have a 16mm masonry bit and a good hammer drill

I was surprised by the weight of this anchor. It was simple to install and I feel the motorcycle has another level security.

Rented a hammer drill from Home Depot, marked the spots for the screws and drilled to length and width specified. Worked like a charm. Can’t get sturdier than that

Picked this up to lock my bike down, I have nowhere to keep it but the front of my driveway, on a main cross street. This thing is sturdy as anything. The hardware included is great. I feel so much better having this out there. Also, I got their 2 foot chain which was perfect to pass through the front tire !

Oh yeah. Beefy, well-built unit. Used hammer drill to secure to concrete structure. This will NOT be the weakest link.

Now that I have this installed it feels super solid and gives us piece of mind for my son's new dirt bike. I'm only giving 4 stars because I felt the instructions were confusing. It said to put the screw and anchor assemblies into the holes (5/8" drill bit was perfect as others have said) and slowly remove the screws. In the process everything fell apart in the hole and I had to spend considerable time with a screw driver and pliers to get it back out. On 2nd attempt, I connected all the hardware to the bracket as shown in the photo and slowly lowered it down into the holes as one piece and then tightened the screw to expand the anchors.

Very solid, won't be using bolt cutters on this one! I installed on concrete wall so had to rent a hammer drill, a 1/4 x 6 inch bit for starter hole, and a 5/8 x 6 inch final bit. Very straightforward instructions, whole project about an hour. You cannot tell from the website but the inside hasp diameter can handle about a 2 inch diameter chain. Beautiful glossy black.
