This is a quality piece of kit for a reasonable price. While I own a variety of similar items from all the top tier manufacturers, where those items fall short is having the adjustment range suitable for a smaller tool. The S2 shines in that area. It is of sufficient adjustment range to shoulder and bring to the ready, but also can be quickly cinched down for a very tight to body fit to keep two hands-free when on the move or otherwise undertaking non-pew activities without the host flopping around wildly.I would make the purchase again, especially for a SBR or a pistol MSR format. And it's always a pleasure to support veteran-owned, small businesses that operate from the USA and employ Americans to produce the final product. Well done gents.

The concept is great [modular sling]; the execution and application of the concept, modular sling, is average at best. I should have heeded the warning of a review that emphasized the length of the sling being too long [if you're of average height]. Their should be two sizes to choose from, one of average length and another size, longer, for big and/or tall. Having the attachment gear at the top of the sling cutting into your shoulder, if you wear the sling like a normal sling, isn't good; so the thing is to pull the sling over over your head to allow the wide section of the sling to lay ACROSS yourback - and then swing your gun under your arm in sort of an appendix carry position with the butt end of the stock lower and the pistol grip higher. This takes some getting used to but it is effective, especially if your weapon is heavy like mostseem to be. The thing of being able to use one good sling for many different guns, using what ever S2Delta add on orswap out attachment that's needed, was so appealing that I had to give it a try but it really did not work out that well.Even so, being a right handed shooter, I can pull the sling up and over my head, from the LEFT side, and then pull the gun down under my left arm; in this position the sling crosses over the back of my neck and shoulder - from right to left[if you will]. At times, after traveling some distance and becoming tired this can be reversed to ,put the sling over your head from the right side, wide part of the sling laying ACROSS your back, with the gun under your right arm. If a need fortaking a quick shot arises, when the gun is carried under my LEFT arm, I need only swing the gun AROUND the front side of my body, and then up, to be in a good, and normal shooting position - for a right handed shooter. Normal or shorter men out there just try what I describe and work on it; it's about the only way this sling can be useful. This sling supports the weight of a heavy gun and a fully loaded high cap mag so well, with the 2 inch wide section across my back, that many times I will just go with this sling and use what ever add on or swap out optional attachment that's needed for any particular gun - at the time. As it is every gun has its own sling on it, of various types, and that becomes expensive. The slings out there with one inch, or not much wider, straps are a joke even that many of them are pricey [you're just paying for the brand name with little or nothing that much better about the sling] - [compared to other similar slings].First thing to do with this S2Delta sling, for most, is to shorten it up, adjust, to the shortest possible length and then work with it, as I describe above, so the WIDE part of the strap lays ACROSS your back to help SUPPORT the weight of the gun and keep the attachment area near the barrel from cutting into your shoulder - like will happen with a standard carry position used with most any other sling. This S2Delta sling, in the form it was in when I bought it, cuts into the shoulderquite a bit when used same like any other sling. However, perhaps there have been some changes made as to sizing for average height shooters. Now if any plastic is replaced by steel this might really become something good. Girly slingsjust won't do to carry serious guns.I can, and do, even carry a loaded down AK with this sling, with the proper attachment, to lock in to the metal loop near the muzzle and keep the QD to attach to the MAGPUL rifle stock at the other end. There's a shoulder pad for bags at amazon, HAZARD 4, that fits the two inch wide section of this sling perfectly; and with that added this sling supports heavy weight guns very well indeed. I have the HAZARD 4 shoulder pad, for bags and such, attached to quite a few guns. Many parts of this sling are plastic as they had to be or else this sling would have to cost twice as much. I get itbut some light weight alloy, non-aluminum, used for some of the attachment parts would help to make this producta big winner. That along with some common sense changes to the length of of the sling - where it connects to a gunnear the muzzle; this is the part that rides the front side of your shoulder when the length of the attachment is tooshort or isn't right. This is a key dimension on a 'modular' sling and it will/should differ as well depending on the heightof the shooter.Done right, and correctly, about taking everything important into account, would have no issue to pay 100$ for this sling, with the attachments adding to that cost, but I would use it on most every gun I take to the woods so it would be well worth the cost. It would be much cheaper than having many guns and each with a different sling, as it is now.Modular sling is a great concept. The guys that produce this should make some common sense changes and also improve/upgrade this to replace as much of the plastic as possible. Anybody would have to get in line for one of these after that as there would really be no competition to this product. It's tacti-COOL, even as it is, or was, even being sucha LONG one.I would not normally write a review even that I have written many in the past. But on this product I can tell many of you need help. No, it isn't simple or easy, what I describe; but it's about the only way that I can see for an average height shooter to make it work. For the really big and/or really tall men this sling may work just fine as it is, or was. Maybesome changes have been made but I have to make the sling I have work - on some guns anyway. Cost isn't much of afactor if you had a sling that you could use, or modify, to work on most any rifle or shotgun. As it is, most slings out there are not even close to being good enough, cost a mint, and are more or less a joke.

I think I've finally found THE perfect rifle sling. I have a box full of inferior products to prove it. Let me start by giving the features of this sling and then comparing it to the second best sling I own, the Magpul MS4. That's right. S2Delta's sling is now the gold standard of tactical slings. This sling comes very nicely packaged. The build quality is superb. All hardware and stitching is perfect and is 100% American made. Most load bearing surfaces are stamped steel and redundantly stitched. No corners are cut in the production of this sling. The majority of the sling is made of a super light, super strong 2" nylon strap that is incredibly adjustable (from about 1.5 to just under 3 feet). This 2" strap evenly and comfortably distributes the load of a rifle across the shoulders and back. The strap transitions to a 1" nylon which uses sturdy quick release buckles to connect to your choice of hardware. The one inch webbing has an ingenious one hand quick adjust to rapidly fine tune sling length and tension. The sling is basically infinitely adjustable (from about 3 to 5 feet). The sling mounting points are completely modular. You can choose clash buckles, QDs, swivels, or pigtails. You can convert to a one point sling using clash buckles. However, I contacted S2D about purchasing a clash buckle separately to use as a one point. They informed me that a one point QD adapter is in the works. I'll be buying one as soon as its available, even though I generally prefer two point slings.I bought the QD mounts. These push button clips are very sturdy, tightly toleranced, and American made (not cheap chinese knockoffs). It fits my Magpul furniture perfectly. The sling carries great and can be shouldered easily, quickly, and comfortably. The sling has not interfered with any of my other gear or clothing. It's a great, functional design. Don't trust your rig with inferior junk. This is seriously the best sling I own, even better than the Magpul MS4 which cost over $60. The MS4 is supposed to be the best sling on the market. I can say without any doubt in my mind that the S2Delta is superior in virtually every way and it's half the price. Don't get me wrong, the MS4 is a nice sling. However, it is heavier, less comfortable, and more cumbersome to use than the S2Delta. The S2Delta's 2" strap really makes a difference when carrying the sling for a long time. But more importantly, the MS4's 1.25" straps are basically overlapped over the entire length of the strap which makes them unnecessarily thick. If you carry a pack over your rifle, this can cause pressure points and hot spots. The S2Delta is WAY THINNER and superior for anyone on a ruck. The S2Delta is much easier to adjust to a comfortable position. The hardware is never uncomfortable on your shoulder or back. The MS4 hardware (which is mostly plastic) requires a lot of adjustment to get it "just right" and even then it causes unnecessary discomfort under a heavy pack after hours of use. All this, and the MS4 weighs 10oz vs the 6 oz S2Delta. I'm not a weight weenie but when every ounces turn to pounds, why would you spend more to have the heavier, less comfortable Magpul? The S2Delta sling is a no brainer. It's the best functioning sling on the market. It's affordable and all American made. The small company is owned by Marine veterans. I can't wait to see more in their line up. Bravo Zulu S2Delta!

S2Delta 2 Point Sling: http://amzn.to/2oYA75eUTG Pro M-Lok QD Mount: http://amzn.to/2nxDDGUThis 2 point tactical sling is easily the best value out there. S2Delta is the new kid on the block, but their USA made sling speaks for itself and is as good or better than Magpul, Viking Tactical, Vickers and other name brands. Their modular system enables swapping between QD Swivel, clash hooks, & standard pigtail straps. The thicker strap is far better than the thinner ones that can cut into your back and flip around with use. I purchased it with QD swivels and they work great with the UTG QD sling mount (link above) as well as Magpul CTR Stock. Usually you have to pay a premium for quality, but in this case quality can be had for much less than the better known brands. Also this is a vet-owned company and they do give a military discount.I made a YouTube video reviewing this sling.
