The principle behind ozone sterilization and deodorization is that ozone is a highly reactive gas that readily reacts with organic and inorganic substances, breaking them down into simpler compounds. When ozone comes into contact with microorganisms or odorous molecules, it reacts with them by oxidizing their cell walls and membranes, breaking down their proteins and other components, and ultimately rendering them harmless.

Step 1 - Clean up the pollutants
- Remove and clean any accessible odor sources and pollutants for optimal results.
- Close the windows and doors. Make sure no people or pets are in the room.
Step 2 - Adjust the timer knob
- Set treatment time according to room size and air quality.
- If you are not sure, start with 15 min and increase as needed.
- After setting the time, leave the room.
Step 3 - Leaving the room
- Make sure no pets or people are near the area to be treated.
- hang DOOR HANGER LNOTICE on the door as a warning.
Step 4 - Air-out the room for 30 minutes
- Air-out the treated area for a minimum of 30 minutes before allowing people or pets to re-occupy the space.
- If you notice any lingering odors, the area may be retreated at a longer duration.
During the ozone sterilization process, ozone gas is generated by an ozone generator and released into the air or onto surfaces in a confined space. The ozone gas penetrates into every corner and crevice, destroying microorganisms and odors on contact. After a certain period of exposure, the ozone gas reverts back to oxygen, leaving no harmful residues behind.
