  • They are circular, round in cross-section.
  • Designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.
  • Commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.

Nitrile Butadiene Rubber O-rings

  • Good mechanical properties and high wear resistance NBR. Good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease.
  • Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

The same issue. The ID is ~1.5 mm larger than advertised so the o-ring did not fit snugly therefore the fluid would leak out. However, the quality is very good.

These rubber o-rings are what they are supposed to be, and for me they rescued two metal water bottles which had started to leak. Of course one has to measure and get the right size, but for me they were just what I needed.

Fits perfect. If anybody wants to know, it fits the upper and lower radiator hoses on a Audi 2.7T, 2.8, 3.0 and I'm sure many other volkswagen group applications that call for compatibility on the original part number.
