This case works beautifully for my 125 year old early American zither. So glad I can now protect this special instrument.

The material is cheap plastic. That said, the price is great. With the same style, the same fit with a little better fabric, the price was double and some triple the price. This will protect my instrument, just in a case that looks cheap. If you want to protect your instrument, this is fine.
