We used this hose for the first time today, took it out of its packaging and box and used today, first time and the the hard of the fitting was defective and loose, resulting in the gray tank spraying everywhere. Disgusting and the hose was separated from the hard plastic that attaches to the tanks. So angry this expensive hosts was defective on its first try only to find out I can’t return in because it is out of the 30 day return policy!I have no idea

Have been using the 15’ Viper kit for four years now with zero issues. Keep it stored under our Airstream in the Valterra storage tube. Needed a longer run and had a RinoFlex with the built in elbow and it’s not as well built, nor is it clear (the elbow), as the Viper. Went and ordered the 10’ extension and was disappointed to find that it doesn’t come with end caps. 25’ of compressed sewer hose won’t fit width wise underneath so I have to store it in the rear bumper compartment. Now I have to contact Valterra and purchase endcaps separately.

We have a series of different sizes of the simple Red Hose with Black end pieces. Lasted for about 8 years, and then the primary one we used the most often started to leak. And NO PROBLE WITH THAT - I feel 8 years of usage was great! As we still had a 10' and I think 20' set of these hoses, used very in frequently. We wanted to stay with Valterra for compatibility, and due to good life usage from the set we had. When the primary used 10' section started leaking, of course we tossed it. And i tried this unit, as it was supposed to be a bit thicker material. It has become the hose we've used the most since we bought it. Was disappointed to see two leaks while dumping the other day. Same care, but for sure not as long as life cycle.... I've replaced it with a Valterra Dominator 15' section, just ordered today. Again, so I could use with the hoses we keep in reserve for use as needed... Hopefully these will have a longer life:)!

Good hose and very durable. Well worth the money. So far it has worked really good and have had no leaks. Way better than the cheap hoses out there.

Best sewer hose for your camper on the market. Have had for a long time and it still works as intended. No holes or creases have shown up. Have stepped on it to show my in laws and it never leaves a mark! Spend the little extra money for a product that will save you money in the long run.

There is nothing to dislike unless it is the process of discharging the black tank itself. When you find something that does the job well, you need to stick with it. This hose is thick material and has outlasted the other brands I've wasted money on. I also purchased a 5' extension so I would not stretch the 10' too much. I've RV-fulltimed for seven years and only needed longer than 15' once.Personal note: My Viperhose blew out of the truck bed on a 2,000 mile/3 day dash across the country. I bought another one of these. I don't need to waste any more than necessary. Pardon the pun.

I know these type of products aren't exciting to review, but b/c there were none, and I had tons of questions on them, I thought this would help someone.Rhino Extreem to me seemed to have a nice setup, but I wasn't to keen on having their kits elbow attachment. The Viper kit has the 15' hose with the better (solid color) removable elbow attachment with the four tiered connections for addressing the sewer. The Viper uses four bayonet lugs on their ends for a tight seal, thick protective coating and crush proof. Plus, it's Valterra, they have the clear four prong 45 degree elbow that fits with this perfectly. To with Viper and your set for the long haul!
