It can be used to cut the end of wires in tight places and to grab and pull wires in tight places.

This thing is great. I couldn't pull the fuses under the dash in my Jeep by hand or with one of those plastic thingies, but this gadget gives enough grip and leverage while not damaging the fuse. Like my Dad always said, you gotta have the right tools for the job at hand.

I see some reviews stating their pliers were just needle nose modified by a grinder but mine look machined perfectly. If you get a bum pair, swap them out and move on. These pliers work on every type of GM fuse I have tried as well as on some relays.

This is a good tool for intended purpose, superior to using pointed-nose pliers or cheap plastic alternatives to pull fuses. It makes a nice addition to the automotive toolkit. The quality seems good. It's not a tool that's ever going to have a lot of force applied to it anyway, so I don't see why it wouldn't last forever. Just the right tool for the job.
