Just what we needed, hard to believe how much this helps someone get in and out of the car. It is also small enough to keep in the glove box.

As you can see in the pics they appear sturdy until it snaps and you can see how poorly the metal is cast. It’s pot metal to begin with and the weakest point is hidden under the handle. Save a buck outta luck. What really got me was the fact that I barely put any weight on it and it snapped. If I’d put my weight on it I’d have been lying on the driveway. Not a good spot for a guy with a bad back and walks with a cane. Amazon should outlaw these before someone gets hurt. Inexpensive, poorly made and totally unreliable. Looks like lawsuit bait.

If you take care after someone these are extra helpful when the need to get out of your car. They make a great gift for anyone and handy to have on hand just incase a family member or friend has any kind of surgery on the ankle, foot or knees. They can also break glass if your in your car for any reason. Good buy.

Works great but one of them was cracked. I did not notice this until the return window expires because we don’t need it until we used our second car. But the one that isn’t cracked works really great for my elderly mom to get in and out of the car.

These were mentioned to us for my wife by our grand-daughter. 12 years old and recognized the need for my wife. The latter uses one every time she gets in or out of our car. They're strong, quick and easy to use. I even installed a small pouch in our pickup to hold the handle. If you need a little help and support getting into or out of the car, I recommend one of these.
