VEGA foam Insulation, got the install kit, recommend, everything there to use product and clean up. Through no fault of product shipping was not the best. The product itself was great, easy instructions and easy to use, just follow instructions makes a great job. Will be ordering more to continue with further projects. Very good project, but I feel that some of the cans would not completely empty. That I feel is a waste of product. Once you get your technique established it was easy to use. I would recommend cleaning the applicator after every can used.

Product arrived in perfect condition no damage and as described. Used to seal and insulate rim joist in crawl space. Did a great job. Make sure surface is some what free of dust and mist with water for better adhesion. Would highly recommend product. Use a gas mask in confined spaces. Saved a lot of money doing it myself.

I bought the 12 can kit with some of the accessories to wear while applying. I'm enclosing a porch and wanted to try my hand at DIY spray foam. This kit fit the bill to allow to try it out without spending the money for the larger 2 tank kit. While this takes a little getting used to, I'd say I had it understood by the end of the 2nd can.Solid product, no issues with any can and it applies very well. I wet the sheathing first and I think that helped a bunch with the expansion of the foam. Make sure you hit your application with some water from spray bottle to help with the chemistry.Instructions are easy to follow and I would recommend you watch a few YouTube videos of others using it to see how it comes out and applies. If you are on the fence, get a smaller kit and go e it a try!

This foam works really well. I live in a fairly cold area, and after foaming one side of the house and it having time to set, you were able to feel the temperature difference between the two sides. I highly recommend it.

This product worked well for me. Nice pressure and seemed to go pretty far per can. It did take me 2 cans to get used to how slow and even to go per pass. Seemed to cure nicely and stuck to everything i sprayed it agains. Make sure to have everything at the correct temperatures for best results (can’s and surface)

A quality product - not too difficult to apply with some practice. The gun works well - seems to be high quality. The spray quality is not as good when you get to the bottom quarter of the can - not enough pressure. It's hard to measure, but I'm not sure I was able to achieve 20 board feet per can. The delivery was very fast. Overall, I would and will purchase this again.Richard White from Montreal, Qc.

I bought the Vega Bond Foam Insulation kit, which includes the gun, the foam cans and some other appurtenances. My intention was to insulate the exposed roof joists and sheathing in my climate-controlled Garden House. It’s a small brick building with a slanted standing seam metal roof. My intention was to use the foam to improve the building’s efficiency and to, hopefully, have a nicer appearance than traditional batt insulation. The foam insulation instructions seemed simple enough and I followed them to the letter. Each foam can comes with two different rubber nozzles. One is for side to side wall applications and the other gives the foam a bit of an upward lift for overhead applications.I attached a foam can and an overhead nozzle to the gun and began spraying. The foam disperses in a very thin layer. Even though the layer is thin, the foam did not stick easily to the wooden roof sheathing. Foam started pulling away from the sheathing with chunks falling to the floor. The foam spray also splatters around like snow falling. Thank goodness I was wearing protective gear and I had covered things with tarps before beginning.I used two more cans, which didn’t behave any better than the first can. I then took a break to let the foam cure while I cleaned the gun. The kit comes with a cleaning solution.I assumed there is a learning curve to using the product and that I would eventually get the hang of it. (Side note: The cans do not cover anywhere close to the 20 board feet that the manufacturer claims.)For my next attempt, I attached a flexible plastic hose that comes with the kit onto the end of the gun. The hose is supposed to help you get into hard-to-reach spaces. You hold the gun in one hand and maneuver the hose/nozzle with the other. The splattering “snow” was still an issue, but I was able to get the foam into some tight corners. I continued the process of spraying a few cans, taking a break to clean the equipment, then waiting for foam to cure before the next session. On my third session using the attached hose, the pressure build-up must have been too much and the hose exploded (split), shooting foam all over me and the walls. It was quite a mess to clean. The incident was an America’s Funniest Videos moment and I would have laughed if it had been someone else. Won’t be using a plastic hose again!I re-read some of the user reviews where others have had problems and I decided that I must have received a bad batch of the foam cans because I was following the instructions exactly as written. Since the product is not returnable, I bit the bullet and ordered some more cans (not another kit). This product is not cheap.Shame on me! The second shipment of foam cans is just as messy (sputtering and splattering) and suffers from poor adhesion just like the first shipment. What a waste of money this was. If you decide to purchase this product and have the same problems, don’t say you weren’t warned!Another note --- the foam goes on thin and stays thin. It does not expand. I cannot imagine how many cans and money it would take to get a simple 1” thick coat.My advice is to forget the DIY method. Hire a professional foam insulation company to bring their big pumping truck and hoses to give you a quality job. It will be a lot less hassle and probably a lot cheaper in the long run.FOLLOW UP ---The company reached out to me and offered a full refund. I gladly accepted. I will give the product another attempt in the future. Hopefully the problems with the formula (poor adhesion), the can’s pressure and the “snow falling” foam mess will be corrected. But by no means should anyone use the included plastic hose that comes with the kit. Don’t risk an explosion like I encountered.

I used this product on a chicken coop which is made entirely of steel. The product arrived in perfect condition, carefully packed and no damage to any of the components. I applied the product between temperatures of 78° to 88° and it worked exactly as the product reviews and videos showed. I was extremely satisfied with how easy it is to use! Each can is equipped with 2 nozzle tips for your applicatiin method. One for spraying walls and the other for overhead applications. Each tip works really well. But I do recommend changing out each tip when you change out each can. Also, before taking the empty can off the spray gun, make sure you shake the replacement can for 30 seconds or so. I did not pre-soak or mist the metal before applying. But I did sweep it to ensure that cobwebs and dust were removed to enhance attachment of the product. One recommendation for overhead applications is that when the can is done spraying a volume and is beginning to sputter, dont try to squeeze out every last drop because it will just sputter and splatter and fall on the floor that last little bit. when the cans done, It's done. The second recommendation is that after you run the cleaning product through the applicator gun as directed, once you remove that cleaning can, depress the trigger on the applicator one more time as there will remain a pressurized charge in the gun nozzle. The coverage of the product was smooth, efficient, and went a little bit further than I thought it would! I would recommend this product and this company highly and will be using it again for future projects.
