I've used Velox a couple times now. I agree that the adhesive isn't super strong, but if you clean your rims before you apply the tape, and mount your tubes/tires right away, this tape works well. It clearly offers more protection for you tubes than some thinner tapes. Is it worth it? I don't now, but I'll keep using it.

The original and best. Thick, durable, easy to use and adheres nicely. Cotton rim tape is not in vouge any more for a variety of reasons, but if you have a set of particularly troublesome wheels this tape might be just what the Dr. ordered.

As others said the adhesion is horrible with this tape, I cleaned the rim twice, made sure it was dry, and it will not stick to the carbon.I guess I’ll go back to gorilla tape and wish I did waste my money on this tape.

I was getting repeated flats with my high PSI road bike tires. I suspected it was time to replace the rim tape. This was my first time re-taping a rim. This tape was extremely easy to use and I love the durability of cloth tape versus other materials. Since replacing the tape, I have not had a single flat in 1,500 miles of riding, so it works very well!

Superb product. A tough canvas tape with a gentle adhesive backing. Be sure to first wipe the rim with acetone to remove any previous adhesive. Work the fresh tape around the rim, centering it, and pressing the edges into place. Will come off super easy if you need to replace it in the future. Professional grade product.

Thick tape that adheres well to the rim. I used a disinfectant wipe (plenty at hand...) to remove debris and grease from the rim prior to attaching, which might have aided the adhesion. The tape was a bit wider than the deepest "valley" of my rim (which was ~10 mm), but I could easily apply it anyways, bending it and covering parts of the slope on both sides. While flexible, it is thick and looks very sturdy, so I have no doubts it will protect the tube well. Not noted in the description is that the valve cutouts in the tape of this french product are sized for french Presto valves, not for the larger Schrader valves (which my tube has). I began placing the tape just beyond the valve cutout on my rim, satisfied that the tape cutout did not coincide with a spoke nut location. The tape was about 1 in (2.5 cm) longer than what was needed for my 700x25 tire size, so one could shorten it at the beginning by a bit to aid in placing the cutout away from spoke nuts as needed.

J’ai acheter ce lot de 2 bandes pour sa matière résistante à la place des fonds de jantes d’origine âgés de 14 ans . Pour deux jantes de 28 pouces, la mise en place est très facile ,autocollantes et résistantes . Je le recommande .

Cheap but very effective - 2m long and 16mm wide. It has a sticky backing. I had not trouble getting it to stick to the wheel. I am confident that it is thick enough to stock any burrs etc from damaging the inner-tube. (Used on a wheel 700x35C size.)
