A++++++ I bought this jacket for golf in the San Francisco Bay Area....but Im also wearing it as street ware. Im a 110 lb female and bought a man's SMALL. It's a little bit long for me but not bad. It fits fine over a couple of sweaters.The jacket as a whole is very well made. Plus the case with handle that it comes in is super handy. I keep the jacket in the carrying case.The entire jacket is a bit heavy for me, but I took off the shell and just used the inside fleece jacket with the heating element. I am very pleased with this jacket.My only "complaint" is that I wish the pockets on the inside fleece were a little bit deeper. But this is minor. The pockets on the shell are perfect. And put together as a whole, there are plenty of deep pockets.I would definitely buy this jacket again.

I wear X-large to be more comfortable. The product heats up alright, however, as there’s a gap between the jacket and your body, your don’t feel any heat!

This is my second Venustas heated coat. I have had the other for about 2 years. One of the panels stopped working on it. (I gently hand-washed it and hung it to dry, and it didn't function after that. That may be on me, not the equipment.)About this unit.It seems fair quality and lighter than my previous coat, which is a plus.3 concerns1. The hood does not detach as advertised. (At least when I bought it and at the time I am writing this review.)2. The cord to attach to the battery is changed from a USB to a DC plug. (if you have a previous battery, which I do, it won't work on this unit)3. It has a pungent smell that is quite strong and irritating. I separated the two pieces and have fans blowing on them to see if it will dissipate. It has been a few days, and it doesn't seem to be getting better yet. We will see.

Have taken this out 3 times now and for the very first time in years, I did not notice how cold it was outside. Sitting at the dog park, you get cold fast and the dogs are not ready to go home. As people were leaving because they were getting cold, I was toasty warm! Tomorrow is supposed to be 10 degrees with a nasty wind chill. Not going out for hours, but I will take the dog out at home and sit on the porch. I'm betting my legs and feet get cold in a hurry. The outer shell is sturdy and sheds dog hair and anything else. Definitely beyond water resistant as the snow doesn't even stick to it. Has nice large deep pockets and an inside pocket. Might have more, I didn't really look for all of them yet. Runs slightly large. I was thinking I would be wearing sweatshirts under it, but there hasn't been a need to do that. Instead of ordering one size larger, I could have ordered my normal size. I can't wait to get the pants to go with them that I ordered. Will be all set for winter doing anything outside. I will add, we used to wear down that was good to about 15 degrees outside. This is warmer by far and the lining zips out for cleaning or removing if you don't want to wear that. Lining isn't cheap stuff either. Nice and sturdy. It's a heavy jacket all on it's own.

Must have! Roomy, warm and wind resistant. Easy to clean but the battery is janky. Decent value otherwise.

Love my jacket. The heater is fantastic for me. I’m a photographer and I end up spending long hours in the cold waiting for the moon or the sun to come up. It’s not easy to move enough to keep warm, so this jacket is a game changer for me.If you're expecting something to make a grilled cheese in your jacket, then this isn't for you. The warmth simply offsets what my body might produce. If I’m not active then the jacket keeps me from getting colder.Sitting around with friends on a chilly night with only the fleece (inner liner), this jacket is perfect. Add the outer shell and I need to keep the warmer on low or else I'll over heat.As for customer service:I had my jacket for about 6 mo when I had connection issues with the battery. I contacted support and Claire, my customer service rep, was great. They communicated amazingly well and sent me a new jacket after a few diagnostic tests on my end.For what this jacket costs, the functionality, and amazing customer service I received, I could not be happier.

Liner was longer then shell. Coat was a larger fit then the heated vests and felt because the size was a little larger didn’t heat as well. When he put his hand in the pockets he felt it short out.

My partner is thrilled with this coat. He used it all last winter, but just as the weather was warming up the coat stopped working. Customer support was fantastic. They asked a few questions to identify what the problem was, then shipped a new coat.Absolutely hassle free experience.

Bought this jacket not even a year ago and it won't heat any more. Contacted mfr for warranty and they asked for video proof of the error. We have sent it three times now and they say they cannot view the video. We have no idea what's going on their end, but they won't warranty it without viewing a video that we've sent three times and they're unable to view. What a waste of time and money.

I love that the heater is part of the liner and can be worn alone or with the shell jacket on top. The size is accurate and it is amazing how to be warm in spite of the elements.

I bought this for my husband who is always cold while hiking. The inner jacket has the heat via a battery that charges easily. The outer jacket is waterproof. It fits as described and really holds the heat just right. The battery charges in about 8 hours and lasts for about 4 hours. The batter is pretty large and tucks inside the pocket. My only complaint is that there are little sleeve holders that broke and one of the velcro holders on the outer jacket came undone already. It has been less that a month. The quality doesn't seem too solid. I hope that's all that breaks because he really likes the jacket.

I did not know heated clothing was a thing until cross upon this. So glad i did. It works amazingly well. First let me say im 5 11 and 175 and i got the medium, large was really big and one tbooing is to get the kost out of the heating pads u want it as close to ur skin as possible. The jacket is well build and the inside feels really good, not itching at all, very confortable. It has a zipepr and a velcro for double closing. Now the battery has a nice percentage screen to help keep track for how much us left which is nice but it last so long never checked it and uses usb c to charge. Now keep in mind if you charge ur phone too then of course will last less. Now one thing i notice it uses a usb cable to charge the jacket pads so in theory you should be able to use any other batery pack with higher mah and should keep u warm all day long but dont quote me on this. Setup takes 1 second just plug cable and follow instructions. Diferent level of wamrs is alsp a nice feature. Great jacket and well worth the money to keep warm and toasty on this snowy vacation.
