This stand is well made and sturdy. It grips hoops well, HOWEVER the plastic clamp is not wide or sturdy enough for a q-snap or especially a scroll frame (which is typically much larger than hoops).It would work a treat for an average sized person sitting on a relatively firm seat. However, I’m a big person with thick thighs and the stand doesn’t adjust up high enough for me. Also, I sit on a soft couch or my bed to stitch, and the stand presses down into the cushion under my leg and it ends up too low and I have to bend down towards it. Again, this would be solved by a higher adjustment.I still use it, just in relatively unorthodox positions and it’s not as stable or hands-free as I’d hoped. It’s still much more versatile and portable than a floor stand, for sure, and certainly easier than holding on to the hoop.

This doesn’t seem like a game changer but it is! I’m an avid cross stitcher and this beauty was worth the wait! I’m shocked at how it makes needlework easier. LOVE!!

The numbness in my fingers from clutching the hoop or fabric got too much for me. I'd tried the double hooped lap frames but they weren't tall enough and the legs in between them were a pain to stitch around. I ordered this seat frame in desperation and I couldn't be happier with it it. It's tall enough to see my work. It's easy to use. It frees up my left hand and has doubled my stitching speed. I love it!! Well worth the slightly longer shipping time (ships from the UK).

LOVE. Best embroidery tool I have. Easy to put together and sturdy. I just wish the plastic screw pieces on the bottom were flat instead of rounded as it doesn’t lay flat on a table.

This embroidery stand is a great item for any embroiderer. It holds the hoops well so you can work on your projects without having to hold the hoop. Made very well and easy to put together. It slides right under your leg for easy access to embroider. Great item.

The quality of this product is very disappointing. The finish on the base was minimal, and the wood grain was raised and very rough. It should have been finely sanded and then coated to protect the user from splinters or abrasion to clothes and skin. The company does not stand by its product and will not pay for expensive shipping back to England. I should not have to pay to return a defective product. I can’t use it until I sand it and apply a protective wood finish to it. I’m now stuck with a very over-priced piece of junk.This was my experience.

Love this product !!! It allows me to cross-stitch hands free. It will hold various size frames and is SO adjustable you can put it at whatever angle you need. It takes stitching to a whole new level, treat yourself and get one of these, you won't regret it !!
