This bike rack is very sturdy & would be great for EBikes problem is the hitch that slides into the tow is square set & does not fit into the Dow hitch to my car. I tried to have one sent with through but this was not an option. I am located in Australia so anyone buying this you’d have to modified connection.( Photo shows the black bike connection which does not fit as it needs to have slightly rounded corners)

This is not a heavy duty rack but for a couple of road bikes or lighter weight mountain bikes and infrequent use it's just fine. Assembly was fairly easy and all the parts fit well. I had to bend the retaining hooks at the top a bit to get everything to line up correctly and a few of the clamps don't quite clamp down all the way. Only other concern is that the 2" adapter is plastic and allowed quite a bit of slop. I had a good aluminum one and with that and a few shims it's rock solid!

I am very disappointed in this product. I used it once and it bent. I had 3 bikes on that were under the weight limit. The bars where you hang the bikes bent. They say it is rv safe. It is not. The whole unit was very wobbly. I had to use ratchet straps from my frame to the rack to secure it.

I purchased this VEVOR bike carrier for attachment to my existing 1 1/4 in class2 hitch. The kit came complete with all parts, and fortunately it was intuitively easy to assemble because the included assy instructions are about the worst I have ever seen.While mounting the carrier on my car I noticed the following flaws:- the square pipe that is supposed to fit into the 1 1/4in hitch receiver is too small. I had to pad it with 1/8in thick metal plates on two sides to stop it from moving around inside the hitch receiver.- the kit comes with a long 1/2in bolt (for 2in hitch receivers) and nut to lock the carrier assy inside the hitch receiver. This is very impractical, considering the length of the bolt, and requires fumbling underneath the car bumper with two wrenches. The existing hole would not accept a 1/2in trailer hitch pin. I had to drill the hole to allow a standard hitch pin to fit through. + the kit comes with a "locking" plate and bolts to tighten the fit once the carrier is inserted into the receiver.Once I made the necessary adjustments, the bike trailer is working as intended and holds one or two bikes firmly in place. Overall, a good value for the money.

First off, customer service is great. A part was not fitting correctly and they promptly fixed the issue for me. The rack is easy to put together despite the not so clear instructions. It's held up pretty well and I feel comfortable transporting my bikes HOWEVER, one of the arms that secures the bikes scratched through the clear coat and rubbed off one of my Trek bikes to the metal. It upset me but it was also my fault for not doing my due diligence as I was in a rush. Should be an easy fix with one of those float noodles and just cut it to protect the frame. Other than that, I am happy with it.

As I have aged I was struggling to lift my old bike rack. This weighs less than half my old rack but does the job well. It’s way cheaper than anything else I saw.

This is a solid rack and holds two regular bikes perfectly. The rack is held into the hitch with a bolt and then a nylon bolt. It's helpful to have an electric drill with a socket adapter just to make the install quicker. The bolt helps to stabilize the rack, so I wouldn't try using a lock pin. I would not use this for an ebike.

The first time I used this, the rubber protectors on the top clamps came off on the highway. The roads were smooth, with little to no vibration. The metal clamps rubbed against--and scratched my metal bike frame. The knobs also come very loose, very quickly. The instructions warn you to check them while in use, but this is excessive. The kotter pin is very poor quality and not sized correctly.I can't stand the thought of taking this apart and sending back to Amazon. Took two hours to assemble and way too many parts to deal with.I would love a refund!

I will say it took me about 3 hrs to put together by myself. I’m pretty good at putting things together, but this had lots of parts and I needed more room than I thought to work with. Fortunately, everything was very well packaged and easy to figure out. I was quite impressed with how well it was wrapped. This thing is solid! It is so much easier for me to load my bike on than the rack I use to have. I have (2) 49lb e-bikes and it carries them, no problem. My ONLY issue is the rubber coating on the hook that holds the frame in place, rubbed off during first use and scratched up the paint on my new bike. I would highly recommend using a floatie or pipe wrap to cover your frame and protect it from the hook scratching it up.
