The front mount steering cylinder is designed for single and twin non-power assisted outboard engines up to 300HP. It offers excellent resistance to repeated compression set and is designed to better withstand the harsh marine environment. It is ideal for outboard-powered boats like the center console, offshore fishing, bass boats, flats boats, and many more.

The hydraulic steering cylinder working pressure of up to 10.3Mpa/1500psi. Its made for boats rated to handle a maximum of 300 HP

Built-In Two-Way Lock
The cylinder is equipped with a built-in two-way locking valve which eliminates rebound torque during torsion.

I bought one of these for a 225 hp Mercury on one of my boats and liked it enough that I bought two for my other boat that has twin 150 hp Mercs BUT I went to the Vevor site and bought the second two directly from them and saved a ton of money. The only drawback is it takes a little longer to arrive

Purchased this for a 140 Suzuki and so far it works amazingly. So much more cheaper for this than going to the marine store and paying over $1000’s dollars.

My old sea star was leaking. So i ordered the vevor actuator and as you can see i replaced only the cylinder and the front steering column...thats it the rear supports and brackets are spares (picture 2)... Sea star actuator only... cost more than the entire vevor steering system.. And i wont talk about how much sea star full system is....this product worked great while moving handled my 225 suzuki at 39 mph like it was a Cadillac

Easy installation, wish it had more fitting option instead of the single 90d elbow fittings.
