Works as expected on my Duromax 440 but be prepared to also purchase different weights and springs because this clutch will engage on idle with even slightly modified engines.
Works perfect

so after some research into the spring/weight dynamics of these clutches, I can safely say these are set to engage at something like 1100rpm.. between the (VERY weak) black springs and the 86g weights. technically those weights are fine if you upgrade to yellow springs, you'll be in the low 1800rpms for clutch engagement. as it is after using this clutch for maybe 20m of driving I noticed there is some severe wear on the inside. The bolts on the outside silver ring were loose but thats a separate issue I believe as there is a snap ring that holds the outer clutch cover in place. regardless they do help control the sheave to center connection. Long story short this is a cheap clutch that doesnt really work like its supposed to but does work. If youre popping it on a custom gx390 like I was and its engaging the second the engine starts up, you should probably check your springs and weights and buy upgrades as needed. Hopefully this core wont wear through. Good luck..update: yellow genuine comet springs (while incredibly difficult to install) were exactly what I needed, cart shifts ideally now though the clutch itself sometimes gets stuck in the 'locked' position.. the outer ring bolts were much more damaged than initially realized, highly recommend swapping to grade 8 or 10.8 (theyre 8.8 so thats what, a grade 5?) one sheared when reinstalling halfway in with literally no force on it so.. broken when pulled and I didnt notice. but hey I can always buy a second and maybe even third one of these with the money I saved when this one breaks x_x

Works really well. I obviously had to turn my idle screw down because the description says it engages at 1400 rpm but after that it works perfectly, accelerates really well, and has lots of torque. I would definitely buy another one for a similar engine swap
