Great small pumpDidn't use fitting supplied with the pump, used quick connect, short suction hose, primes great at idle, pumps water and air, hasn't lost prime when sucking air.Really like it, uses hardly any fuel.Great pump for the price

Cannot get the pump to start moving water. Almost impossible to prime the pump and get a suction going.

Maybe i got a bad one… mine does not pump water… followed instructions, add oil, gas and primed….. engine start on first try….but no suction….. trìed a dozen times… even look for advice youtube… but does help….. bought an intake hose and and this water pump… both can not be return because of hazardous material…(really, rain water and mud is hazardous) anyway… $300 down the drain… one start for easy start….updated: amazon was kind to refund the water pump … hf does not take return for the in take hose…. Well better down 100 rather then 300…
