Really useful tool for deciding a scene for your painting. You can adjust the dimensions with the slide. There are dimension markers on both sides of the viewfinder. It's small and lightweight enough to take with you while traveling and painting al fresco (even if you're making micro paintings). Great investment if you intend on painting outdoor landscapes. You'll still want to take a reference photo, as you'll want to capture a specific time and lighting conditions.
