This product is very sturdy thick material, it comes with a high quality rubber stopper to save your wine for later. It’s also beautiful on the counter. I would buy again for a gift.

I have some older wines that seemed to have lost a bit of their character. So I went on the hunt to find a way to bring out the flavor in my wines. I looked at a number of decanters and picked this one. It's great. The shape is super and works super well. It is easy to grip and pour. I was surprised how little of it is filled up by one full wine bottle. You could put a couple bottles in there! It is probably bigger than it needs to be, but it is a beautiful glass piece. It is easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

First, no decanter is going to be easy to clean. Get used to it. Rinse it out, pour the water out, get up the next morning and pour the water out again. There is really no easy way to clean or dry any decanter. Now for the good stuff. This is a big decanter. A standard 750ML bottles of wine will not fill it to the widest point of the decanter, two bottles would probably do it perfectly, but I haven't tried it yet with two bottles of wine. Maybe when the covid crap is done, I'll have friend over to see. The glass is good and thick, which I think is a good thing. Seems to be very well made and with the punt, it's easy to handle with two hands. I've hit the rime with a couple of bottles and have not chipped it, but it is glass after all, so be careful. I'm very happy with it, and would buy it again.

The shape is perfect. Others are similar, I'm sure. But the divot in the bottom which, if inclined, you can use to position your hand for pouring and the amount of space available for the wine to sit "spread out" is the best of all the other choices. Quality of product - its heft, clear bubble free glass, and overall feel is really nice. The stopper is perfect - fits, and is a heavy duty rubber that fully settles into the top opening. Nice that it's not some stupid golf ball or globe - just a tasteful, classy black unadorned rubber stopper. Get the aerator from this same brand - exceptional !

This is the best wine decanter I've ever seen.... all the advertising is spot on.... it works great... pours great.... and is easy to clean. I have some wines that definitely need to breathe.... like 2010 Syrah that need to really "breathe" before the balance comes out. One feature I really like is the indented bottom.... easy go grab & pour as well as adding another element to the aeration of the wine. It's also very good quality... heavier crystal... looks as great as it works.

My last decanter chipped at the top, so it was time to replace it. So glad that I found the Vintorio Citadel decanter (and with the holidays coming up! Lots of dinner parties!) It was thicker glass than I expected which actually pleasantly surprised me. Definitely not as fearful that this will chip or break with long-term use. It's also beautifully designed, and my friends were all impressed by the craftsmanship. As for usage, it did a great job aerating wine. The box that it came in was also sleek, and it felt like a nice gift to myself.

I am blown away by this decanter. While looking for a wine decanter, I decided to give this a try because I am 110% satisfied with Vintorio's wine aerator that I am using. As expected, this product is very sturdy and beautifully designed which elevates my wine drinking occasions. More importantly, I love the fact that the top is big enough so that it gives wine a more room to breathe. I have recommended this to my friend who is a wine connoisseur and he is in serious love with this decanter as well. If you enjoy wine like me, you should give this a try as well.
