Before I applied it, though, I ordered and used the Vinyl Prep (by same company). I was amazed at how much more dirt came off that I had just accepted was there "for all posterity". LOL It also prepped the surface for receiving the Vinyl Coat. My boat is not really "white-white" so I took a chance and ordered off white...which was perfect - as it is a warm white - very light cream and matched my Rinker boats gelcoat color and looked marvelous....perfect even color - just be mindful NOT to try and put a thick coat - do it in light layers and your vinyl upholstery will look like a "professional job"!

So easy to use, spray it on wipe it down. Spray your vinyl paint / dye and your old vinyl looks like new again. I was changing colors and you will never be able to tell.

Incredible product. Purchased 2002 Carver 350 Mariner in great condition with the exception of the faded, stain vinyl. There were no tears or rips. I applied a few coats and couldn't believe my eyes. Each piece looked as good as new. The only question I have is, how will it hold up over time?

Worked very well , not a cleaner, did not expect to remove anything, but it seems to make the vinyl much more receptive to paint. That is what it is supposed to do.

This is basically just pressurized Rubbing Alcohol - per SEM's MSDS.I get equally stunning results with drugstore 91% Alcohol. The key to great results is not expensive prep products, but in how clean you get the part before spraying. My method for preparing vinyl for SEM color coat:1. Scrub part with degreaser, then rinse. (I use simple green and a soft scrub brush)2. Scrub again with dish soap, then rinse.3. Repeat steps 2 & 3 as necessary until parts looks clean.4. Wipe part with 91% Alcohol (you should be wearing gloves at this point)5. Wipe part with tack cloth6. Spray color coatI get factory-like results every time.

I bought the prep spray along with the vinyl marine paint to resurface my seats on my boat and I am extremely pleased. Follow the directions for prepping with this spray and then apply the vinyl paint and you will get coverage that looks like new and it has so far lasted a year with great results. I has significant mold and other stains on my seats and I restored them to like new condition. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has stained or weathered vinyl seats on their boat.
