The product features actual metal pipes supporting the structure, which makes the unit hefty. Surprisingly for the quality nature of the frame, the shelves themselves were made from coated particle board. That fact does not detract from the over-all look, but it was slightly disappointing given the quality of the frame. Quite easy to assemble - the pipes come apart completely to allow for easier assembly if the fit isn't quite right like it was with mine, but a few tweaks with the frame and it all worked out smoothly. Quick to install. Looks great. Would purchase another.

It’s great but it’s very heavy because the pipes I believe may be actual pipes. Wish it was a little lighter since it adds a load to the weight on my standup desk but it’s decent. If the pipes are read it would have been nice if the wooden boards were real wood instead of pre-fab but it’s ok. Still looks nice. It took me a minute to setup and though I had an issue with the fit but there’s a few areas that need to be adjusted before adding it on to your desk. But still a good sturdy unit so far.

Good overall, but slight bents in metal cause the shelf to slightly slant. I believe the wood could be nicer as well. This is cheap material and for the price I think you could find some more options here. Easy to customize though, I'll likely make my own shelf to slot in.

The product height listed in the picture is misleading. It is taller than 23" when including the mounting part.

I wasn’t sure about the quality because of the cost but the piping was as described and solid quality. Even though the shelves are particle board they are pretty good considering the cost.

These work really well on my desk. The metal and wood is of good quality but the cost of the shelves is too high in my view which is the only reason I gave them 4 not 5 stars.

A great addition to my home office. I have a few collectables I like to display around my desk to make me smile as I work 7 days a week as a digital creative and marketer. This addition cleared some much needed desk space so I could spread out more, rather than spending a lot more on a new wider desk. I only have one at the moment, but would buy again, and the quality is super solid!! The pictures on the Amazon listing don't do it justice, it is a wonderful piece of engineered shelving.

Ordered two of these. The poles are real metal, not plastic junk. The shelves are some sort of particle board covered with some heavy duty material, nicely patterned.The units were easy to assemble. They are very sturdy.Love the look of them and glad I purchased. Would purchase again if the need were to ever arise.
