Exactly as described. In regard to the previous review that shows pictures of their original valve without a hole and this valve with one: this part is for a CBUA engine code (with hole); the vehicle they were trying to install it on was for a CBTA engine code (no hole). This item is advertised as the correct part number.

It’s virtually plug and play. Getting to the lower bolts was a little difficult Part fixed emission code.

The part came in time. But cannot be used in a 2009 2.5L vw jetta. There is an opening in this new valve which the vw jetta original part doesn't have. Attached is two pictures to point this out. The opening is represented by a red arrow.

Great fit, fixed the problem. It was a little challendge to replace it beacause of the position of this valve but good product overall.

Resolved the check engine code on my 2010 VW Jetta 2.5 liter engine. The car was throwing P0492 and some web searches led me to this part being the problem. Car had about 45,000 miles at the time. It's a bit of a job to change this but come in from the top of the engine to the left of the part and you'll get it without too much fuss. You will need to work 'lefty' for the 10MM bolts holding it to the block but it's not horrible. Also, the gaskets on this part come off the old one and fit onto the new part as they are metalic gaskets so no need to worry about those.
