I ordered this water elf kit for my nieces and nephews to play with when they come over.The kit comes with everything necessary to start making your own magic water elves, which includes: 1 storage container, which doubles as the water bath to activate the gel; 1 net scoop; 1 pair of plastic gloves; 6 different colors of gel; 9 gel molds; 1 storage container to store and display your shapes after you've made them; 2 packets of activation powder.First and foremost, this is one of the smaller kits available, but still enough to provide hours of fun for kids and adults. Second, while you get 6 bottles of gel, you only get 2 packets of activation powder, so unless you save the water bath for use again, you will run out of the activation powder long before you run out of gel. As a remedy, you can buy additional packets of activation powder online, or you can buy a container of calcium lactate, which is what the activation powder is, and use about 22g of the powder in your water bath. Additionally, other gel colors and molds can be purchased online as well.I will say that, for a small kit, at a regular price of $18, this seems just a tiny bit high to me, as there are larger kits you can find on sale around this price or less.Other than the price, this is still a fun project that will surely keep kids busy and out of trouble for a while.

These aren't good at all. We followed the directions to a T and these just didn't hold up at all! This is the perfect gift for 5-8 year olds too, so I was super upset when none of the little squish toys held up.

My toddler absolutely loved doing these! It’s definitely something you need to help them with but trust me you’ll have fun making them to!

My grand daughter saw these advertised on social media and just had to have them. She loves slime and anything squishy and these were perfect for her! She can design and make her own whenever she wants. This kit came with everything you need to make the squishies except water. It came with the magic powder you put in the water, and a couple different sets of molds. This set is all sea life themed. There were several bottles of coloring so you can design them however you choose. The instructions were easy to follow and my 12 year old grand daughter was able to figure it out all by herself. The squishies need to be store in water after making and will last a long time when stored correctly. I definitely recommend for kids and even adults!

My daughter and I did this together. She loved it; couldn't make enough of these. Like others have said, they only give you enough crystals to make two solutions, so this will only work for two sitting unless you save the solution. Still, I think that's enough. She has like 20 water elves from just one sitting, right now. That's more than enough.I subtracted a star because the instructions just aren't good. They're obviously translated from Chinese because the English is poor and not descriptive enough. We had to figure it out ourselves but it's not too hard to do so.It's a fun craft that yields fun squishies. It's a good value for the money. Better instructions and it's deserving of five stars.

Having seen some videos for these, thought this would be a fun activity for young ones... and it is! They had a blast creating their own gel animal shapes. The only issue was that the fun was only for 2 days because there was only enough solution for 2 sessions. And the molds seemed smaller than the videos I had seen.Taking the size factors into consideration, for the asking price, i don't think this a great value. I think going with a larger kit would be more satisfying.Take note that if you don't protect your creations they will shrivel up in a matter of hours. Even in the provided bubble, they didn't last long into the next day.So not bad, just not as good as I anticipated. Lots of brands on here, would choose a different one next time.
