Featuring a hollow-ground edge, the dimples on the knife create air pockets allowing food to easily slide away from the blade. I bought this knife for my 12yo because it’s a smaller blade and easier for him to manage. The handle fits his hand nicely and the blade is super sharp. I have other Wustof knives and like the brand’s durability. We’re very happy with this one.

So, after a short time, the wooden handle has cracked. This has been looked after very well, always hand washed and dried immediately. Would have expected better from WÜSTHOF. Very disappointing.

When I bought this knife I thought that the weight of it would be quite heavy to handle it. I can tell you now that every time I use this knife I am always impressed how lightweight it is. In addition, It cuts beautifully all kind of food.
