These styrofoam eggs are smaller than expected, but they will still be fun to decorate with stickers, markers, etc., as an art project. The interiors are large enough to hold a handful of candy or small gifts. The seal is tight so the egg will not spill its contents as do many plastic eggs.

These polystyrene eggs for crafting are a nifty idea. Unfortunately, the execution is not the greatest. They came marred, nicked, and depressed in multiple places. I should be able to fill in the defects before I use them, but I shouldn't have to. I will be using the egg halves by placing little Easter scenes inside. They are a bit shallower than I anticipated, so I will have to adjust my design to compensate. Height and width wise they are just about perfect for this purpose. There is also a bit of a lip on one side of the interior that will need to be sliced off. Another idea that I had for them is to poke holes in them, fill them with scented potpourri, and then attach a hanging ribbon. Should make for some fun craft projects. Overall I am reasonably happy with my purchase, but I feel that for the price they should be smooth surfaces that don't necessitate repair. If this product had a little better quality control, it could be a winner.
