Just what I needed. I have a labradoodle that’s still a pup and gets rambunctious running around and this is solid, love the legs that lift off the ground which also works easier to lift to clean and fill. Could work as a food or water bowl. I would use it for a plant too.

Great bowls for Bulldogs, it’s wide so the mess is less. They are sturdy and a good addition to the kitchen decor.

I’m thrilled with this bowl, which I use for water for my cat. First of all, she likes it! It’s so important for cats to drink enough water, and in addition to being easier to drink out of, I believe the stoneware keeps the water cooler. I got the medium size, which holds a generous amount of water. And the terra-cotta color is really handsome. I’ve accidentally banged it against the faucet a couple of times when filling it and it hasn’t chipped. And while it’s heavy, it’s easy to pick up with one hand because you can hook your fingers around one of the feet to get a good grip. It’s easily the best pet bowl I’ve ever had, so I ordered a second one in the grey. Well worth the price.Edited to add: the grey is such a great color, warm and deep! Really pleased. Looks like high end pottery.

My animals use this every day. I like the size, I love the weight, it cleans well, and my animals do not knock it over because they play in the water.

Bought a large one for my golden retriever because I recently learned that she should be using a much bigger bowl than the one we have for her (the one she is using was about 6cm wide and 4cm deep). This bowl seems to be really nicely made, heavy enough that it won't slide around if your dog is a bit crazy or likes to knock it around. It is dishwasher safe (which is a huge plus). However, not sure if it is because the bottom is not curved, the few times she tries to eat food from the bowl there would be food left around the bottom of the bowl. Even when we gave her food she normally love and would clean up, there would be leftover or she would simply take a few bites and leave the rest. We gave up after two weeks of trying, now I need to figure out a way to repurpose this bowl.
