We use this while we are camping to hold our trash bags. It’s perfect for that use if you are careful as to how full you fill your bags. The lid keeps the flies away. It collapses for storage which is convenient.

This isn't the easiest to put together, and it is a little flimsy. It was also a little difficult to remove the full garbage from this. Honestly I would maybe save your money and just tie the bag to something and use it that way. 4 stars because this was functional and convenient but if this were to ever break, I probably wouldn't bother with another.

I wanted to love this, it’s what I’ve been looking for to use at out weekly summer family BBQ’s, but if there is any wind at all, it falls over frequently and the bag slips out. I do love how compact it is and how easy it is to assemble, put away and store. Maybe if I could attach it to something immobile to make it a little more sturdy.

I'm returning this product because it doesn't hold up trash bag. The lip that holds the bag gets stuck on the lid so the trash bag drops out whenever you lift the lid. The bag holding part should click closed or something more secure. After using for 24 hours it became defective. Not worth the price since it doesn't work as described.

We bought this for camping purposes. It works good for its intended use however once the bag is full ot becomes a little difficult to remove the bag from it. Assembly and dis assembly is fairly simple and it stows nicely being compact. Its durability seems to be ok for normal use.

Bought for outdoors to use by our fire pit area. Has a solid bottom, to which I added a couple of bricks for weight, so not blow away.

This frame collapses nicely for storage. This is great for an active trash, like while cooking or eating while camping. It's not ideal for long term camp trash storage as it's not sturdy enough to withstand any critter interference, and the capacity is just a smidge above a trash can you might keep by an office desk, before the contents are too voluminous to remove without disassembling the unit. The lid has an inner frame that keeps the bag in place so you won't need to hold it open, which is handy at times, and prevents us from having to access our stowed trash bag multiple times a day. The lid is also snug enough to hold in odor so if you have a dog at a campground, you'll appreciate that.

I'm not terribly impressed by this portable trash but, neither am i upset about the usage.--First off, price. For the material/quality of the gadget, its kind of overpriced. 9.99$ would be the sweet spot for me unless the build quality is significantly better (ie: metal legs and a heavier base).--the lid is the main attraction for this because in the park or outdoor bbq, you really should have a lid to keep out those pesky flies. main issue with the lid contraption is the frame that keeps the trashbag held up is just not great. it just sits without any clips so trashbag just falls down. an easy mod ? bring some large binder clips (the ones you can find in dollarstore/staples easily). clip the bag to the frame --- 2 at least. in any case, the product should really come with a clipping mechanism to hold the bag up.-- plastic legs weak and succumb to wind / weight of bag. so just be gentle, prepare to replace the bag if it gets too heavy.-- bottom tray has 3 holes that accept the plastic legs. really poor attachement (mere tension) that results in collapse if you dont push hard enough. in addition, one of 3 leg holes are really loose. I ended up just gluing that thing in since i am only using this for backyard bbq's not camping/travel.-- when bag has nothing in it, i would put some large rocks on the base. this is a very light unit that just topples with wind or someone knocking it slightly. when the trash becomes fuller, i reckon thats not needed.so overall this thing could use some design improvements but with some simple home DIY modification, it does the job and its "okay".
