The sides were warped top to bottom. To us it, you have to push REALLY hard to get the heavy plastic to be flat against the wall. It must be flat against the wall to get proper line positioning on the wall. Haven't used it yet but I did put a straight edge on it after I could see with my naked eye that both sides were warped. Pushing it hard against the wall corner straitens it enough to mark the wall. Hope it works.

I was skeptical about this gauge but found it very helpful for marking out baseboards with rounded drywall corners. While this gauge is not 100% accurate all the time, it does help you quickly mark our youro cut lines. With a little practice you quickly get the hang of it and will no how to modify your cuts when needed.When I finished my basement cutting the baseboard corners was very time consuming and a huge pain. I recently updated my main floor and upstairs and using this gauge cut my finishing time for baseboard corners down considerably with excellent results.I would recommend this handy little corner jig and would buy it again!. Highly recommend.

This is incredibly easy to use and very helpful to have for baseboards on walls with round corners. You still should cut a range of blocks from 5/8 to 3/4 because not every corner is exactly 5/8. But if you have ever done baseboards without this jig you'll be kicking yourself for not buying it sooner. The little holes to nail it on the wall removes the need for a helper.
