The clamp came a little bit too large for my 2-1/4" pipe because there wasn't much of a trumpet on the exhaust end. I just put them in a vise, closed them up, and ground down the mating faces and they fit perfectly. Much cheaper than buying a whole new 'Y' pipe. It sealed up real good. Well worth the cost.

I used two of these to replace the converter to exhaust pipe on a Pontiac G8 GT. Pipes are 2.25 inches with an oversized ball flare so not many options out there. Had about a quarter inch gap between the two halves on each side as installed but tightened up well - I think the center to center of my application was 110mm or about 4.3 inches. Only thing that would have been better was adding the hardware going from this to the mating flange.

I used two of these to bolt the exhaust on my 2011 Tacoma back together after the bolts and flanges rusted out. I ordered but didn't use the "bolts and springs" set Amazon said many also buy. It just wouldn't fit for my application. I used a couple 3/8 x 4" bolts with a few washers and lock washers and a generous application of threadlocker instead. I guess it worked; no more unusual terrible noises, just the usual ones.Amazon's shipping was a little weird, one set arrived next day, the other still said "shipping soon" on the scheduled day of delivery. I figured the order was "stuck" so I ordered a third which arrived next day too. The second of the set finally arrived four days later.

This repair flange 36131 was a perfect fit on the back end of the catalytic converter of my 1994 Ford Ranger to connect the converter to the intermediate exhaust pipe with the standard spring/bolt connection hardware and gasket that is normally used to provide the flex needed on that connection. Maybe in the spring I will fix the whole exhaust system but for now it's a great fix.

These things work fantastic, are easy to use/assemble, and make for a much less expensive repair. The only warning I would give, and it has nothing to do with the product itself due to it being universal fittings, is to double check your old hardware/spring bolt kit before purchase. Depending on install direction/flange replacement you are replacing (I had to use one for both sides of pipe, downstream of cat), the neck of the spring bolt, that fit the yr/make/model, wouldn't fit past the threads. You may need to explore options of different flanges or hardware that works together to fix your vehicle. I had to get the job down asap, so i drilled bigger holes on one of them to fit the neck through, which was not a pleasant experience with a lack of tools.

Great flange repair kit! Was able to use it to connect the resonator to the muffler on my 08 Sentra. Worked flawlessly, would definitely purchase again.

I expected this part number to fit a 2.25" diameter pipe but this fits a 2.5" pipe as others have stated in separate reviews. I used this on a 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0L to mate the muffler extension to the catalytic when the ears on the cat rusted away. It held tightly against the remains of the old flange once I flipped it backwards despite being a little big. The springs are now a bit tight as the bolts span a longer distance. The clamp and hardware seem as well made as most light-duty aftermarket exhaust parts. I expect I will get a couple of years out.

I used this and the 36130 flange repair kit to secure the down pipe and catalytic converter on my wife's Honda Pilot. The fit wasn't precise, but it didn't have to be. The flange on the downpipe had rusted through, and in lieu of removing the pipes, and cutting off the old flanges and welding the pipe together, I opted for these. They had enough clearance to reach each other OVER the existing flanges. The bolts weren't long enough so I used 3 1/2" bolts with the same thread pitch and a set of washers and nuts to secure them to each other.Worked like a charm with the Walker crush ring type gasket.
