Awesome muffler. Perfect fit on my car. Used the recommended gasket (sold separately) but did not use the exhaust bolts. Was able to user existing exhaust bolts. Installed in 20 minutes backing it onto a set of ramps.

Easy install, and sounds quiet on the car.Muffler however doesn't come with clamp bolts or gasket, so you'll have to buy those separate.

Yes, it fit perfectly in my 2017 Subaru outback. However, make sure to also get the gasket. Also get the clamp bolts if you don’t have them.I like the little hole for draining excess moisture. It’s not a defect, it’s by design.This muffler is smaller in thickness than the factory Subaru outback muffler, but feels just as solid. And is the same length.And wins in price!

Tight fit causing flange side to have extra pressure on it. Cracked in just a few months. I do live in rust belt, but failure was right at the flange side, on pipe weld at muffler housing. When installing the amount of "torque" required to get flange to seal caused added stress on the flange side pipe welds. It is possible it got bent during shipping or this specific one was just welded slightly offset or other manufacture defect. I am a certified ase technician, and there are literally only 2 bolts so installation errors are very unlikely. Definitely not oem quality.

.Very easy to install.. had to bend one of the bracket for it not to hit after market trailer hitch… that was no big deal.. if gasket was included it would been better..

Smaller but sounds just fine. Lined up with the pipe and the hangers. Don't buy the recommended flange gaskets that Amazon offers as they are the wrong size. Wait to get it from your local parts store.

Was slightly disappointed the the outlet pipe was a a little smaller than the original muffler. It is quiet and hasn't seemed the effect the gas mileage.

I installed this on a 2012 Subaru Outback in October 2018 (3.5 years ago) with no issues (this replaced the original factory muffler that rusted thru). Bolted up just fine, looked like oem. Now, the weld at the flange to the muffler stub rusted completely thru and broke off at the flange. The muffler looks great, but is of little use now that it's not connected to anything anymore.
