Threads were to long on the input side. Had to hacksaw off about half of it. If the escutcheon was wider (thicker) this would not need to be done. Looks and works great after the modification.

Love this item. Very heavy and nicely coated in chrome. Only problem was the connection to the water. My plumber had a little trouble b/cthe threads were a little to short for the connection that was already there. He added a small section of pipe inside the wall and everything looks just great.
