The jacket size is what you would get from large brands like Columbia and HH so order your normal size. I went a size up because I wanted more room to move but I could have stayed at a medium fine. The jacket is about as heavy as you'd expect from a good winter coat and it's the perfect level of warmth. To be fair, we've not seen super cold temps this winter so I don't know how it'll do in negative (Celsius) temps but it's kept me warm. The best part so far is this jacket will keep you DRY! My dogs and I got caught in a downpour the first time out with it and the water just rolled right off. We've been through a number of storms since and the jacket performs the same. I'm happy with that. No 5 stars though because of the hood and zipper. The zipper is fine really. It's just not an expensive zipper so it does stick sometimes and the bottom doesn't stay fully zipped if you crouch down (2-way zipper). The good is about an inch short for me without the fur. With the fur, it just hangs in my face and I can't see. So the fur is off and its ok - I just prefer my hood a little longer. If they redesigned where the fur attached to the hood to be a bit further back, it wouldn't fall down and I obstruct vision. Those are small complaints to me overall so I am very happy with my purchase. Better quality than expected for this price point. Oh and the color was true to what I saw onscreen.

The coat is really warm but I hate the zipper because it's zips from each end. I constantly have to keep pulling the zipper down at the bottom. The hood is an over size hood, its too big for my little head.

I sized up to a XL and it fits great! Love the option of removing the hood. The pockets keep my hands warm and was super excited about the pocket inside the coat. My phone fits in there perfectly and it is nice and deep.

I purchased this coat for my roommate who tells me she loves it. It's cold where we live, and she said it is nice, soft, comfy and warm. I showed her how to work the double direction zipper, and no complaints from her. She needed something she could wait for transit in, that held up to minus Celsius temperatures and wind chill. Definitely what she was looking for. Loves the removable hood and fur, that also zips up for Arctic weather... Oh yeah.... and she wanted red, but is glad I got her the burgundy. Once here, there was no contest. Strait A report card. Happy roommate.

I saw this coat and loved the length and color. I bought medium and large to try both since my hips are 44 inches. The large was far too big in my waist area so I immediately started the return. The medium fit better around my waist even with a very thick sweater underneath, but I noticed that the fluff within the coat was lumpy is certain places, especially the butt.It seems like the amount of fluff throughout the coat is inconsistent and the stitching doesn’t keep any of it in place. It seems to migrate all around on its own which is not something I’m willing to deal with so both are getting returned, unfortunately.I bought a ski coat from Wantdo four years ago and that’s been my winter coat ever since. I love it. It doesn’t cover my butt which is why I wanted to order a new coat but nope. This isn’t it. I’ll stick with my 4-year-old coat that’s still in great shape and keeps me warm every winter.

This jacket was an excellent buy for me. It is warmer than I expected, which is a plus. The sleeves were long and the wrists have elastic keeping the draft out.The zipper glides smoothly and a zipper flap snaps over the zipper to also keep out the wind. I’m short and am delighted that the length almost reaches my knees, which is what I was hoping for. Despite my short stature and the length of the coat, the pockets are still in the perfect position.Bonus that the hood detaches by zipper if I want to wear without. Finally, I purchased the green one and I love the shade. Not too olive/drab but also not too bright. Overall, I am so pleasantly pleased with the quality and value of this jacket.The warm was tested this week with -8 degrees and it passed with flying colors! The length, snap and zippered closures, elastic wrist cuffs, and deep pockets kept me toasty warm even though I didn’t have gloves. It was so comfortable that, despite the frigid weather, I was perfectly comfortable walking the downtown exploring the city while on my trip without the need to duck inside on every block. The coat is not as light as a goose down (for suitcase packing purposes) but I had no problem squishing the coat into a tiny suitcase and it unpacked with no wrinkles. Bonus points for a water resistant exterior fabric. Spilled my coffee on it and the liquid rolled right off. Overall, a great value.

This coat is simply amazing! The cuffs at the end of the arms are perfect for protection from wind, the collar is as pictured and very full (not skimpy like on some coats I have seen), the closure around the neck is great in helping with extreme cold weather, the color is true to advertisement and the quality is superb. I was skeptical about ordering online without trying the jacket on first, but am very happy with this product. It took me about four hours before deciding on this particular coat, but I am glad I did. This is THE best coat I have ever owned and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a really nice winter coat. Hats off to the manufacturer - well done!

I'm a huge fan of this coat! It is warm, a great length, has double sleeve openings at the hand (one more fitted, like sweatshirt cuffs), is not that shiny material, has deep pokets (no closure on outside pockets but an inner zippered pocket) and isn't puffy at all. It will work for Minnesota winter walks perfectly. I can often wear various sizes in women's clothing. I did size up to provide for room for sweatshirts and sweaters, etc. Don't need them for warmth with this coat, but that is what most Minnesotans wear in the winter. Ha!I shopped online for a while before landing on this coat. It is less than half the cost of some others I was eyeing. If you're on the fence, I vote that you just order!
