Now I have lots of back up power so I don't get cut off while filming my grandsons recitals or school plays.

The jury is still out. Only recharged 1 time. Have to recharge 4x to see if it holds charge longer than the oem battery which it should because it has higher mAH.Purchased because of good reviews.

Finally. I'm not sure why I waited so long to purchase this, but let's face it- the battery that comes in the box with the camcorder is a joke. An hour's worth of battery life? School plays last waaaay longer. My daughter's softball games are 1-1/2 hours. My son's baseball game? Forget it! This lovely battery lasts for over 4 hours! No more pausing, no more switching off & forgetting to turn back on. Fits my camcorder perfectly, substantially larger than the factory included model so it's much heavier when in use. Great price, quick shipping. Awesome. Purchased for the JVC Everio GZ-MG360BU

I bought a 2 pack. Both worked great at first. Now only one battery works the other does not. Hence three stars.

This battery was good for a full day's recording flying to and then filming at a game park in Tanzania. At the end of the day it was in the red, but by morning had recovered into the yellow and I was able to keep using it until we departed at lunchtime. Since we didn't have mains power at the safari camp, it was an excellent purchase to have along.

I bought two of these and they work just like the real JVC batteries. They also react just like JVC batteries in the supplied JVC charger - (supplied by JVC camera) - the charger blinks until the battery is fully charged that becomes solid. I think they last a little longer that the supplied JVC battery - but to be honest I have not really timed them. I found this battery to be as advertised - no surprises here.

This battery has a higher rated capacity than the JVC original battery. That might be why the camera's "remaining time" indicator is not accurate. The error favors the user, saying it's nearly out of charge when actually there's significantly more remaining. Charging in the JVC charger seems complete, but it takes longer and the charger behaves a little differently switching to full green "charged" indication. With a good JVC battery, removing and replacing the battery after the charger goes constant green causes the LED to again flash a few times, but then it goes constant green again within 20 seconds. Doing that with a Wasabi causes the charger to revert to a prolonged charging mode (flashing green LED). It can take 15 minutes for it to return to constant green. I have not solved whether this means the charger is prematurely completing a cycle on the Wasabi (leaving more room to charge when removed and replaced), or whether the sensor that determines a full charge is mismatched with the characteristics of the Wasabi. On the camera, in service, the performance is good. It starts at 124 minutes, higher than the typical 117 minutes a well-used JVC would offer. The vendor made good on a missing plastic cover that I need to protect the battery from shorting in an equipment bag.
