Needed a fan clutch quick. Well bought this one and not 3 days later the fan clutch harness (properly routed and locked in) caught the fan making my fan explode busting my radiator. But doesn’t end there. When the wire caught the fan was engage and shorted to the pcm frying my pcm. This has cost me $1500 in parts alone.

I buy this fan clutch last 3 months ago and I see my truck it still little hot with the old original fan clutch my truck still in maximum 202 F in a heavy hill high road now my truck it up to 208 F is when the clutch start to work so I think this not working perfectly with the sensor ... please fix that...

my OEM one the clip broke, bought this one as a replacement. Took a short trip and my truck started to get hot (230°) and wouldn't cool down, opened hood to see if it was even moving air and it wasn't. Put my OEM back on truck stays cool. So either Dead out the box or just doesn't work. Waiting to hear back from seller on refund.
