Our Waverly Ivoroid Endpins are hand-turned, with vintage style. These are high quality, precisely machined endpins with no mold lines.
Jewelry for your guitar — A vintage material is reborn! Our ivoroid bridge pins, endpins and strap buttons are made of Galalith, a dense and durable casein-based material that polishes beautifully. Popular in the early 20th century, Galalith is found today in collectible vintage jewelry. It cannot be molded; each pin is precisely machined and has none of the unsightly mold lines common to plastic pins.
The 0.787"-long (19.99mm) shaft has a 5-degree taper, from approximately .315" to .244" (8.00mm to 6.20mm) diameters.
For installation, we recommend using an endpin reamer for matching the 5-degree taper of these endpins.

the end pin was a correct math for my 1947 L48 gibson , tapered to fit ,, no boring out or sanding to make it fit and no "clean up"of the pin casting
