My water pump was leaking at the gasket that connects the two pieces. This is the second time this has happened and a couple of years ago. I bought a whole new pump when the old one started leaking. Now the new one has started leaking. I have not had this installed yet but if this works it will save me hundreds of dollars by not having to buy new water pumps every couple of years.
