Alternatively you can purchase the whole lock assembly kit here to change out all the assembly parts and switch to the newer post type. Well I noticed my handle had the square shaft end threaded for a nut to lock the cable cam in, but I guess it cannot go anywhere anyhow. It does fit and work fine.

Super easy to install, but I did require a second person to hold it in place while I secured it; Taking off the old handle and replacing it with this one just took a couple of minutes though. I also watched a 2 minute YouTube video on how to install this exact handle and highly recommend doing so if you're not familiar with installation.

If you want to install this, purchase screws before hand. It doesn’t come with any.
