Weather Resistant Cornhole Bags (Set of 8) by SC Cornhole
SC Cornhole developed the unique Weather Resistant Cornhole Bag in 2004 after noticing that traditional cornhole bags lost a significant amount of weight during play as the corn broke down. After much searching, we settled on our premium plastic pellets that play most closely to the traditional corn-filling, still meets regulation weight requirements, and feels natural. The result is a heavy duty cornhole bag made of 12 ounce duck canvas, 14-16 ounce of filling, and a bag that looks and plays like a traditional corn-filled cornhole bag. This is far superior to using sand, river rock, or crushed stone as your filling.

Replaced the worn out bags from our neighbor's Corn Hole game after we borrowed it for the 4th time.They are better than the original bags: heavier, stronger fabric and brightly colored. Very satisfied.

I’ll start by saying I’ve been proudly cornholing for the better part of 15 years and to be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect without having handled the bags prior to buying them. It was sort of a shot in the dark purchase after the neighbors dog destroyed our other bags and a toddler threw salt in the wound by landing another one in the pool. But they are high quality and 100% worth the price. I have seen bags in stores of much lower quality go for about the same price point. These bags have real corn and a canvas type of material that the bag is made out of. Top notch, throws well, slides on the board well. Don’t waste your money on inferior quality corn hole bags, make the smart choice, get these.

Nice bags overall. We've used them a few times and no busted bags. Material is thick which is good and bad. At times bags are so square and stiff they are right at hole but get caught up on corner of bag. Hopefully after using a bit more they'll be broken in and not do that. But ultimately I bought them so we didn't have to use our good bags with kiddos visiting etc.

I was really skeptical when researching these bags as most companies have quite a bit of 1 star ratings and this one had very few. I read the 1 star and 2 star reviews to find a common issue and found two I was concerned about - stitching coming loose and inconsistent bag weight. Since all the others had more negative reviews for the same thing I crossed my fingers and bought these and paid full price. I got them in last night and I will say I can see where the stitching could be an issue on the corners at the one side where the stitching is exposed, as the material is folded there and thicker. I may be proactive before I use these and throw some extra stitches on the corners just so it does not come open during our big "tournament". But, as far as the individual weight variance concern, I measured each with my digital kitchen scale and got exactly 15.8 oz on all but one, and that one was 15.9 oz. I can't imagine getting any more uniform than that. The fabric looks heavy duty, and should hold up fine. Also, recent counterfeiting claims was a concern, but the box had SC Cornhole on it, and recessed into the stitching of each bag was a small tag with their website address. Yes, these are more expensive, but are well made, uniform weight, and the plastic should maintain the weight over the years much better than corn (plus, I live in the country where these would be pre-packaged mice snacks eventually).

I was a little worried about several of the negative reviews regarding stitching and weight. I weighed each bag individually on a digital scale, and all 8 weighed exactly the same - 14 7/8 oz. They are listed as 14-16oz, so this is perfect.The stitching looks even and well done on all 8 bags. They are stitched from a single piece of material, so one end is smooth, the sides are stitched, and the top is stitched almost double seamed since the side material folds over and doubles up with the top seam. This may bother some people, but since all 8 bags are identical, it is not an issue for me. The material used appears to be high quality, and the fact that the bags are filled with plastic rather than actual corn is a plus for me. If they get wet, they will not sprout in the future.All in all, I think this is a very well made set of Cornhole Bags. They may not meet regulation specs, but they are perfect for a backyard game and look like they will hold up for a long time.
