These lids are so muck easier and convenient than the Weck glass lids with sea and clips. I use these for my everyday jar items and could not be more pleased. I throw them in the dishwasher and have had no problems- sometimes they warp a little but once on the jars, the seal is strong. Highly recommend.

Sehr hochwertige Transportdeckel von Weck, mit denen die großen Gläser (350 und 500 ml) transportsicher verschlossen werden können. Allerdings sind sie nicht!!!! Mikrowellen geeignet

Just what I needed for my quart sized Weck canning jars. Solid and sealed fit and a great alternative the latch lids that come with the jars.

We simply love the Weck jars and how beautiful they are, but having to work with that glass lid and clips after you open a new jar is just downright a pain in the rear. We recently discovered these plastic lids and they have made using the Weck jars so much better! We like that they are easy to pop on and off and there is no having to screw them on or off. Don't misunderstand, we think being able to can with an all-glass jar is wonderful and they look beautiful, but once they are open, using a plastic lid makes life so much easier. We have at least 10 different kids of Weck jars, but there are only 3 sizes of lids that fit all Weck jars: small, medium and large, so it makes it easy! Most people don't need more than one or two of each size since you only use them once you open a jar and keep it open in the refrigerator, but unfortunately they come in packs of 5. We bought a pack of 5 for each size and now have all our jars covered with no need to buy anymore ever again. If you are Weck, it sure would be great if you sold a variety pack that had 2 of each size.If you have any questions about the plastic lid, just ask in the comments and I'll do my best to answer them.
