I am new to rucking, but my friend who I walk with introduced me to it. She wears 20 pound weights to walk. I started with purchasing this backpack. It is a little intimidating, but it is essentially a backpack that you add weight to in the back of the pack. The shoulders are nice and padded and there are two points of buckled contact across the chest to keep the pack securely in place. It is nice that you can buy the plates separately so you can control how much weight goes in there and switch the plates out for more variety. It is a more expensive approach, but gives you more versatility. A lot of the packs that come pre-weighted are a fixed weight. This gives you more leverage if you want to change to something lighter or heavier.I am about 5‘5“ and weigh 135 pounds, usually a size 4. The pack fits me well but since it’s adjustable, I imagine it would fit for a variety of body types and sizes. It looks like it is stitched well and I hope it will last a long time.In considering this item, I ultimately have decided to return it because the weight is only centered on the back of the backpack. I purchased a different weighted vest that has the weight distributed through the shoulders and some of the weight is on the front of the pack. Given I’m a smaller female, I felt that it would be friendlier for my back to have the weight distributed rather than just having the weight behind me. I had to give up the versatility of being able to put different weighted plates in, as it is a fixed weight vest. But ultimately, I think it serves my needs just fine and will be nicer to my middle aged joints.

This is my first rucksack and I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I am having trouble making this one fit comfortably. The overall build of the unit is good. The stitching is reinforced, and it appears to be built to last. But for this 5'3", 130-pound body, the design is off. I have had trouble finding the right weights for the backpack. Ones that fit the backpack and feel comfortable for me. Maybe this isn't something that I am going to be able to do because no matter how I try, this just doesn't feel comfortable. I work out every day either by walking/jogging or HIIT and I was looking for something to increase the intensity of my workouts. I don't think this is it.

The materials and stitching are very good, seems sturdy enough. However, look at the straps in the first picture, there's less than 2 inches between the straps. And the straps are completely squared off.Now look at any other normal backpack, and notice the spacing between the straps and their angles.I'm not sure how the design of this product is comfortable for anybody, but it certainly doesn't fit me well.

The construction quality is definitely strong point. The material feels durable and well-stitched, capable of withstanding rigorous workouts and different conditions. However it doesn't come with the weights and is sold as a running backpack, the weights are sold separately. I am planning on adding weights to truly elevate my workout intensity while running and I'll update on how the plates fit. I highly recommend the weighted Backpack for anyone looking to boost their workout as it’s practical, comfortable, and highly adaptable, making it a worthy addition.

Fits well, good price, easy to put on. I do wish there was more room to store things like a water bottle, wallet, etc.

This backpack's straps are strong are will not loosen when running with weights. There's plenty of padding in them to allow for a comfortable wear. I only wish that the waist/stomach strap had some padding to it, too. Overall, though, this is a pretty good product.

This rucking backpack is my new best friend!!! I am 210 pounds and on a weight loss journey, and I needed to find a way to workout that was low impact (to try to prevent injury) and would be easy enough that I would actually do it every single day. This pack has been proven to be exactly what I needed! I've been walking on my treadmill, but I decided I needed one of these to improve my workout after reading the books Outlive by Peter Attia and Atomic Habits by James Clear. One of the tips in Atomic Habits is that people who have good habits make those habits easy. Outlive recommended using a rucksack as a great way to exercise for longevity. I figured that since I was already walking on my treadmill, it would be really easy too just hang it off the arm of my treadmill and throw it on anytime I wanted to walk, and wow! That was the perfect combination for me! This rucking backpack is made of super sturdy materials, is reinforced, and has great padding! It's super comfortable. I've only been using a 10 lb weighted plate in it, but it can definitely hold a ton more weight. I'm looking forward to using this for many, many years. I don't ever hear people talk about rucking. Where has this exercise been all my life?! If you're looking for a way to boost the effects of your treadmill walking, this is a fantastic product!
