This is a very great wire wheel. It sheds very little.. though still use your face shield. Ultimately it is a disposable product. There are many cheap substitutes for a well-made wire wheel.. Make your choice. These are very good.

Accidentally bought this one with a 3/4" arbor when I needed one with a 5/8". Local hardware store had a bushing so I was able to make it work. It spins true and works great on rusty bolt threads. Doesn't throw wires like the cheaper ones.

Gave it a fair test in my shop cleaning mild steel. Failed! Individual whole wires along with small pieces break off and embed in clothes and litter the work bench. So much for made in USA.Sorry I waited too long to return as I thought it would self heal and stop throwing off wires. I intend to contact the company directly. It’s dangerous.

Other Weiler brushes I've ordered for hand grinders have been of good quality, but this bench grinder brush isn't up to par. The density of wire bristles is pretty thin it seems. Not as good a quality as Hitachi, for example.
