Perfect replacement globe

This is the fourth one I’ve bought and there seems to be an issue with every single one out there - this one was almost perfect but destroyed by a sticker?! After using some heat to remove the sticker and all of the glue, it scratched the glass and took off the smoke coloring.

The 'smoky' isnt grey like the image, reads brown. Brown does NOT work with my upgrade. And like others, the UPC sticker placement and residue is a joke. I've been working on the residue for 15 min and its just getting worse. Feels smooth and clean but you can see everywhere the sticker was and spread to. Will NOT be using this. I will obsessively stare at the marks all over it. I'll have to figure out another solution.

The glass globe is nice and looks good. My only gripe is that it had a "UPC/Made-In xxx" sticker on its side. I had to use a razor blade to scrape off the sticker and the sticker goo.

It is a very nice globe for the price. It has a slight greyish (smoky) tint which I like. Only negative was the UPC is affixed to the bottom. Based on other reviews, I scratched off with my thumbnail so as not to damage the coating on the globe. What was left was a sticky residue. That had me stumped until I tried isopropyl alchohol. It cleared the residue with no damage to the glass.

Needed to replace a globe. This one was a great fit. Smooth edges help to easily install into the fixture. I wasn't sure about the color, but it is sheer when the light is on and a great look when it's not. I was pleasantly surprised with the low price.
