Replaced a cork mat with this one. The item works well and seems like really helps to remove any static electricity and to reduce some humming noise when the volume is up (my speakers are on the same surface as my turntable). Negatives: the center hole is too small, I used kitchen paring knife to enlarge it to fit the spindle. Also, I don’t have a caliber to measure, but I think that the thickness of the mat is less than 3 mm, seems more like 2 mm. But for the price paid - no complaints really.

The item is great! .... the appearance and all great, but upon returning from an out of town trip, took out time to play some records and use the anti static pad and the “dang” hole too small for the spindle! Very upset, looked great and all, but would advise people think twice before ordering!!

Lots of reviews saying the center hole is too small I purchased 3, 1 for myself and 2 as gifts no one had any issue with them, all 3 I ordered fit the post with room to spare. Quality acrylic, perfect thickness, center section grips the turntable for smoother record playback with a noticable improvement in playback quality.

The center spindle hole is "TOO SMALL" and will not fit at all! Ridiculously unbelievable!

When I first got this turntable mat, the center hole did not fit my player which is the Sony turntable. I didn't mind as it is a fixable problem with a screwdriver. I fixed that problem by drilling the hole a little bigger (which I should not have to do). I then tried out one of my new records and noticed that it wasn't playing right. I think the acrylic is too slippery to the record kept sliding with the mat instead of staying put causing the sound to warp and slow. I would not recommend this for people with Sony turntables.

The mat looked pretty cool. But the spindle hole in the middle of the disk ,is to small. It would not sit on my turntable correctly.

I like the way the edge glows, even when in dim light. It blocks most of it out when you drop black vinyl on top but I only do that when I'm listening to it. I did have to ream out the center hole, like most on here, but NBD. Still cool!

As others have said it does not fit. So it is useless unless you want to try cutting the hole. Waste of time and money. Also mine came with a chip and scratch on the side of the acrylic so it arrived damaged as well as does not fit my record player. I would not buy this again nor recommend this unless you enjoy throwing away your money.

This is nice and thick and makes a great surface for your vinyls. It also makes a nice neutral platform for my daughter's record player, her lid is clear and her player is white, and her room color scheme is mostly white, so when she's not playing a record this shows through her clear lid and makes everything look clean and minimal and it's awesome.
