Ball Milling?

A ball mill is a device that uses balls, or similar media of heavy material that fall onto and crush the material being milled. The falling and crushing process is confined within a jar and the crushing action is repeated thousands of times to reduce the particle size of the chemical being milled. This process is most commonly achieved by enclosing material and grinding media inside a sealed rotating cylinder, the rotating drum will lift the media, and at the right rotation speed, they will cascade under gravity to crush the enclosed material between the media.

Inoxia stocks Laboratory Ball Mill Jars that have been designed and made on site. The lid is a two component type, allowing superior sealing and easy handling. Custom tyres made from vulcanised rubber will help rollers get a grip on the jar and reduce noise. We also sell Large Ball Mill Jars which are for larger milling jobs, with their wide neck openings and integrated rubber rings, they allow for easy emptying and do not leak during milling.

Rubber strips (avaliable in 3mm or 6mm) and Custom tyres made from vulcanised rubber, can be used to replace used ball mill tyres.

Along with this we sell milling media - Ceramic Balls and Cylpebs. Ceramic Balls are avaliable in 13mm, 20mm, 30mm and 40mm. Cylpebs are avaliable in 13mm. We also sell Pestle and Mortars which are perfect for reducing particle sizes for chemicals, such as Magnetite (granular).

Despite Fedex. Lying about the delivery, the product is slightly better than perfect. Customer service performed well, so that's a double positive (5+5 = 10).

Appeared powdery on arrival, but don't be alarmed by this. They are very durable non-powdery. Did a variety of test on strength durability.- high impact test- drop test- velocity impact test- stress testThese are as strong as steel (or at least close enough)Only thing is that they are not consistent in shape, but still they are very good
